The Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad shared with us extensive Teachings on the reality of the angels and their work in the final judgment of the present world. He sometimes spoke of the angels as being messengers as well as scientists appointed by the Command of Almighty God Allah as the Executioners of His Divine Will. The present work of the angels corresponds to a prophetic period spoken of in Divine Revelation and through the word of Prophet Muhammad (May the Peace and Blessings of Allah Be Upon Him) as the one thousand year setback to Islam’s spread. Historically, the timeline of this one thousand year setback may correspond to the one thousand year history of Al-Azhar University in Cairo, Egypt.
›In our Nation’s Supreme Wisdom Lessons, this timeline of one thousand years is presented in Problem Number 31 where the limit of the time is given in the configuration of a lion walking back and forth in a cage seeking a way out, which took him nearly 400 years to find the door. The one thousand year history of Al-Azhar University culminated in 1975 from the date of its founding in 975 A.D. in Cairo, Egypt. This one thousand year setback is also given in Problem Number 14 in the Problem Book which speaks of the student body of Al-Azhar University and the courses of study assigned to them. This Number 14 with two additional zeros calculates 1400 years marking the time of the history of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and the Revelation of the Holy Qur’an up to the beginning of the 15th century hijrah, flight of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) from the Holy City Mecca to Medina.
All of the above corresponds to the timeline of history of Islam’s spread in the known world without interference for three generations (three centuries) up to the time of the domination of the European powers. With the impact of early Christianity and the Founding Fathers of the Vatican under the papacy and the beginning of the Crusades, Islam would experience a one thousand year setback in its history and incurred a period of war instigated by the world of Christendom, who identified the Muslims as being infidels who controlled the Holy places in Jerusalem and the Holy Land. This period brought about the clash of civilizations with the Crescent of Islam and the Cross of Christianity in the time of the Crusades.
As the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad has taught us, the White race was bottled up or confined in Europe from the seventh century until their expansion out of Europe when Christopher Columbus set sail across the Atlantic Ocean with the thought that he was sailing eastward looking for a trade route to India to secure spices and other products. He sailed across the Atlantic Ocean instead and arrived in Hispanola, which is present day Santo Domingo as well as the Bahamas. He found the Indians here who are also original people, thinking that they were from India. Once he discovered America, which was named after Americo Vespucci, another Italian explorer, he began to exploit the native population. These voyages of Christopher Columbus, who was a half-original man and was born in southeast Italy, was followed by other explorers setting sail to the new world under the Spanish and the Portugese who landed on the East Coast of America in the Carolinas, Florida, the Caribbean as well as Mexico, Central and South America.
As they began to exploit the economic resources of manufacturing and production possibilities in the new world, they were quickly followed by the French, the English, the Dutch, and the Danes, who set up colonies and outposts for the British crown. The most brutal slave masters in the Americas in the practice of slavery during the trans-Atlantic slave trade were the British or the English beginning in 1555 with the English slave trader, John Hawkins. Their cruelty and mass murder of the Black man and family of America is chronicled as the worst in the history of slavery on our planet. After nearly 400 years, in 1930, came the answer to our prayers and pleas for a Saviour and a Deliverer who would take us out of our suffering and misery. This mysterious one was identified as Master W. Fard Muhammad, who came to America by Himself and appeared under a disguise. He revealed Himself to the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad, then known as Elijah Poole, born in Sandersville, Georgia in 1897. It was the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad who first recognized the Master as the one that the world had been looking for over the last two thousand years, identified as the Messiah, the Second Coming of Jesus, Jehovah and God in Person. But who else knew this Great Truth? Because he recognized the Person of God, he was trained by the Master to carry the weight of the message of the Resurrection to his blind, deaf and dumb people to restore them back to their God and people in the city of Detroit, Michigan.
The Master was born in fulfillment of what the prophets foretold from the Revelation of the Holy Qur’an and Bible, with particular emphasis on Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), the last of the prophets that would be born just prior to this one thousand year setback. Master W. Fard Muhammad, making Himself known in 1930, gives us the mathematical and scientific proof that He is the one who was born from the time of Prophet Muhammad’s family in fulfillment of the Great Mahdi, whose name would also be Muhammad following the one thousand year setback.
If we multiply these two numbers in the date 1930, the result is 570 A.D., the exact year of Prophet Muhammad’s birth in Arabia, more than 1400 years ago. The Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad’s departure in 1975 corresponds to the one thousand year old Al-Azhar University in 975 A.D.
It is now the time when the work of the angels operating by the Command of Almighty God, Allah, cannot be held back any longer. The final, fateful blow to this present world order in opposition to Allah and the kingdom of righteousness has come to an end. The final trumpet’s blast of the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan, as the representative of the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad, under the guidance of Almighty God, Allah, is the final warning to the world that the time of the end is at hand!
“So travel with thy followers for a part of the night and thyself follow their rear; and let not anyone of you turn around, and go whither you are commanded. And We made known to him this decree, that the roots of these should be cut off in the morning.” –Holy Qur’an, Surah 15, verses 65-66
