JABRIL.MUHAMMAD
And certainly We conferred a favour on Moses and Aaron. And We delivered them, and their people from the mighty distress. And We helped them, so they were the vanquishers. And We gave them both the clear Book. And We guided them on the right way. Holy Qur’an Surah 37 verses 114-118 (Maulana Muhammad Ali)
Again (of old) We bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron, And We delivered them And their people from (Their) Great Calamity; And We helped them, So they overcame (their troubles); And We gave them The Book which helps To make things clear; And We guided them To the Straight Way. Holy Qur’an Surah 37 verses 114-118 (A. Yusuf Ali)
I’m continuing (and quoting) words from the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan when he spoke to us in Phoenix, Arizona some years ago.
“Now, the Honorable Elijah Muhammad didn’t tell us or teach us that we could look forward to this kind of resurrection that the mommy and the daddy and the uncle and the grandma and the grandpa that we buried–five, ten, fifteen, twenty, sixty, eighty, a hundred years ago–that we would see them again on the resurrection day.
“I think that we need to wake up.
“When this body of ours is returned to the earth and the earth takes this body back there is nothing left for you to rise from.
“And if all of the billions of human beings that have died on this earth heard a trumpet and came forth, the whole earth would come forth and then maybe I would be a little angry because the earth that is part of you may have been part of somebody else that lived 2,000 years or before you.
“So, now you all arguing over what part of the earth that you should rise up in. There’s not enough earth to accommodate every human being rising up out of an earth that is 57,255,000 square miles of earth.
“Now, you just have to be more intelligent than this in the way of looking at religion.”
I am quoting Minister Farrakhan when he spoke to us. We were listening to him. I was there when he said: “I think that we need to wake up.”
What does the word “think” mean? Then what does “wake up” means? What was our reaction to him (Minister Farrakhan) when he said these words “think” and “wake up” from 1977 to now?
Nobody, cannot say that we–as a people–have not been very, very, very slow to respond to his word–The Call–that came from the Honorable Elijah Muhammad that was put into the heart of Minister Farrakhan. I’ve done my part to make this very clear in articles, books, speeches and tapes that others have spread around the cities in the USA and beyond!
More next issue, Allah willing.
