It has been two weeks since the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan warned of assaults on the president and creation of a climate that could lead to the assassination of the commander in chief.
Since that vital and insightful warning, there have been additional assaults on the president, including an insulting e-mail about the president’s mother circulated by a sitting federal judge, an arrest in New York state for threats to attack the president and school children and attempts to somehow link the president to the death of scandal-meister Andrew Breitbart.
The right wing blogger, who targeted ACORN and who mis-edited remarks of former USDA official Shirley Sherrod as part of his assaults on Democrats and those considered political enemies of conservatives, was reported dead of natural causes on March 1.
›Almost as soon as his death was reported. Rumors started flying as gossip trying to link Mr. Obama and a reputed video of him with left-wing radicals during his college days to the Breitbart death. The video was supposed to be so devastating that the president put out a hit on the blogger, according to these Obama-loathing delusions.
The video was initially supposed to air on a Brietbart website on March 1 and now it appears that the purported video is to be made public soon.
In the meantime, his website has published what was called a final Breitbart column, which focuses on a play in 1998 that paid homage to a radical organizer in Chicago and listed then-State Senator Barack Obama as a member of a panel that would discuss the play. The column then cites others who were listed as panelists. Their major sin? They were called radicals or socialists.
So in the name of “vetting” President Obama, this play by a small theater company becomes major evidence of evil personified in White House? If the president weren’t facing a 400 percent increase in overt threats, not to mention dangerous shadowy plots, constant disrespect and hatred, these episodes would be laughable. But that these minor points in the president’s life can be blown up into major signs of character flaws and ill motives makes them all the more dangerous. They prove that no matter what the president does, or what the truth is, those who are determined to derail and destroy him will stop at nothing to accomplish their goal–regardless of the price that he pays or the price that the nation pays.
Min. Farrakhan has continually warned those unhappy with the president to express their opposition at the ballot box and to cease plots against his life. There is no sign that his warnings have been heeded at all. It appears that those who hate President Obama may be pushing harder and moving forward at an even quicker pace.
In his Saviours’ Day address Feb. 26, the Minister again warned that to hurt or kill the president could bring upheaval and America would pay a tremendous price for such a despicable act.
His words are a divine caution to an arrogant and errant nation and a spate of tornadoes that struck after he spoke are signs he is not a madman or mistaken. Take it or let it alone, the Lord of the Worlds and His Christ are backing Min. Farrakhan and the Fall of America is imminent. That means that his admonitions and analysis must be taken seriously to avoid the intense regret that comes with rejection of truth and doubts about God’s judgment against America–which fits the prophetic biblical pictures of a modern Rome and a contemporary Egypt.
In addition to the domestic hatemongers, the attacks on the president and the pressure to agree to military strikes against Iran for an alleged nuclear program are not going away.
The president spoke to the powerful American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) March 4 and in prepared remarks and news reports pledged U.S. support for the Jewish state and tried to beat back charges he is not a friend of Israel. He did, however, say pushing military strikes against Iran was not necessarily productive.
“Already, there is too much loose talk of war. Over the last few weeks, such talk has only benefited the Iranian government, by driving up the price of oil, which they depend on to fund their nuclear program. For the sake of Israel’s security, America’s security and the peace and security of the world, now is not the time for bluster. Now is the time to let our increased pressure sink in and to sustain the broad international coalition we have built,” the president said March 4.
That next day, the president met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the White House, pledging support for Israel but trying to leave room for diplomatic and economic pressure on Iran to work.
“Israel must have the ability, always, to defend itself, by itself, against any threat,” responded Mr. Netanyahu, who thanked the president for his support. “Israel has the right, the sovereign right, to make its own decisions.”
The U.S. and Israel are linked by common enemies and Israel is the strongest U.S. ally in the Middle East, Mr. Netanyahu added.
But at the core of the remarks was that Israel would acts as she pleases, an independence present because of the strength of the Zionist lobby in the United States and, in particular, AIPAC’s power.
Once again the president is trying to pull back, at least verbally, from the brink but a so-called ally continues to push for war–a call echoed on the domestic front by Obama haters who also accuse him of disloyalty to Israel. It wasn’t long ago that the publisher of a weekly Jewish newspaper in Atlanta openly called for Mossad, Israel’s spy agency, to assassinate America’s president for the good of Israel. That such an outrageous proposition could be uttered publically says something about the current climate in this country.
As the Minister advised at the United Center, Black America needs to be vigilant in this troubled and volatile time, the hatred and presidential assaults don’t seem to be slowing down. They appear to be increasing and if these evil plans are carried out they may bring upheaval and destruction America cannot survive.
