JABRIL.MUHAMMAD

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful.
Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of the dawn,
From the evil of that which He has created,
And from the evil of intense darkness, when it comes,
And from the evil of those who cast (evil suggestions) in firm resolutions, And from the evil of the envier when he envies.

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful.
Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of men,
The King of men, The God of men,
From the evil of the whisperings of the slinking (devil),
Who whispers into the hearts of men,
From among the jinn and the men.
(From Maulana Muhammad Ali translation of the Holy Qur’an Surahs 113 and 114.)

I’ve thought of my witness of the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan especially since I was taken to the hospital on February 17th 2007.

Consider this I wrote 27 years ago, for The Final Call:

“One of the major points of this series of articles was to show that even as Minister Farrakhan traveled the length and breadth of modern Babylon, issuing the Final Call, he was traveling inwardly towards his Lord. This inward, forward motion, is what was going on in this unusual Brother as he outwardly made his near 300,000-mile journey during a six-month period in 1981.

“Of course, this was and still is the case–externally and internally–during the whole of the 60-plus months since he rose up for, took his stand with, and invited 30 or more million Black people to the Honorable Elijah Muhammad. Let us take a very brief but intense look at this inward journey and then take the same kind of look at Who backs Minister Farrakhan up and with what.”

(In this same article I also wrote:)

“In this–the day of judgment–Minister Louis Farrakhan is issuing the Final Call that makes clear the only way out for the Black man and Black woman in America. He stands at the door of our salvation and the door is the Honorable Elijah Muhammad.

“Minister Farrakhan is the fulfillment of what we read in the Bible of Peter and Paul–and others–as I have already outlined in this series of articles. As Paul had to continuously work to overcome the ignorance of the Gentiles and the pseudo-knowledge, and self-righteousness of the Jews (some of whom sought Paul’s destruction), so does Minister Farrakhan continue to work, to overcome all kinds of ignorance and those who seek to erode his support. Such persons hurt themselves.

“He is patient in the Divine sense of the word. He, Minister Louis Farrakhan, has approached the realization of this quality of patience, to an unusual degree, especially in the light of the conditions and circumstances in which he works. This is a major factor in his ongoing work, to realize the aims and purposes of the Honorable Elijah Muhammad.

“The consequence of his action, initiated by Allah, in his being, is an inward movement forward. In the spiritual sense, this means to become better in character, which, on a deeper level, means to become (to grow to be) like the ones Whose Word he acts by and preaches.”

I wrote this article 27 years ago on November 28, 1982. He has went way, way, way beyond that point. Or I could call it astronomically.

On June 5, 2006 I interviewed the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan on a number of topics. It was for the book, Closing The Gap. One of them was what he thought about my idea of placing the letter that the Honorable Elijah Muhammad sent to me back in November 1966. Here was his response.

“There is no witness stronger than his own witness of what he knew would come to him, except Allah. He told you in the letter that he would escape a death plot. He gave several instances of scripture that confirmed that.

“So our saying he’s alive is strengthened by his words and he confirms what we’ve been saying that he is alive in the face of those who say: ‘Well the Honorable Elijah Muhammad never said nothing like that’ or ‘I never heard nothing like that’ or ‘I don’t believe the Honorable Elijah Muhammad is alive.’

“Well here’s a letter that he wrote at such and such a time in a certain context. And he bears witness that he would be taken on the heel of a death plot. Then, in connection with this death plot, the Honorable Elijah Muhammad told you that, ‘If Allah had not shown me how I was going to escape, I would have no hope.’”

I know that there are people who do not agree with him, not to mention me. I know that many do not accept his public statements that came out of his more than a vision experience, that the Honorable Elijah Muhammad is still physically alive. That experience should help you to see that the Honorable Elijah Muhammad is alive, right now!

What does this mean? It does mean that Minister Farrakhan has tremendous power backing him.

More next issue, Allah willing.
