Dear Readers:

On September 1, 2008, Muslims in North America will begin celebrating the Holy Month of Ramadan, thanking Allah (God) for the revelation of the  Holy Qur’an through Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him).

It is our prayer that these 30 days of the reading of the word of Allah (God) contained in the Holy Qur’an; the abstention from food and drink (fasting) from sunrise to sunset; and the humble and sincere daily prayers of those who desire to submit his or her will to do the Will of Allah (God) can foster a healing process of the ills within our selves, our families, our community and the whole world.
