Testimony from the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad and Minister Farrakhan

Let us begin this article by turning to Volume 27; Number 26 dated March 15, 2008. Here is how it begins: “I thank Allah, in the name of His Messiah, the Honorable Elijah Muhammad, for blessing me be able to bear witness to the divinity of the mission of the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan. I continuously thank Allah for the prayers of those who have and are praying for me.

“I don’t want to go into details here, regarding my health condition. Most people say that I am ‘suffering’ from Aphasia. I don’t see it that way. I see that I’m ‘learning’ from Aphasia. For an introduction into what is Aphasia, go to www.aphasia.org.

“This article introduces the next ten articles that appeared in the Final Call Newspaper in January 2006.

“For this article I asked Sister Traci Muhammad to give me some of her motivation for choosing More Than a Vision for The Final Call.”

The last few articles that appeared in this newspaper were from an unpublished book that I wrote titled Farrakhan–God’s Man On The Straight Path. That material was about Moses traveling with the wise man and its bearing on ourselves. What appeared in The Final Call was not everything Allah blessed me to understand of its bearing on us right now. At the end of that article I ended it with these words:

“Thank you Sister Traci Muhammad.

“By the help of Allah, I intend to write an explanation between the contents of these articles and Minister Farrakhan, what I call More Than a Vision and it’s bearing on Joseph’s vision in Surah 12.”

Let’s us turn to the beginning of Section 10 in Closing The Gap.

“Now we are at the conclusion, or final set of interviews, for this book. I must again say that I have been honored and privileged to conduct these interviews with the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan. Off and on, over the last few years, I have been thinking about when might be the most appropriate place to end this book. I knew and know that my Brother, Minister Farrakhan was and is so filled with the spirit and wisdom of God Almighty that we could go on, literally for thousands of pages easily.

“When he was here in Phoenix, preparing for his Saviours’ Day address, for February 2006, he shared with me what he had in mind to say to Black people, to America, and to the world, with the help of Allah. What he said to me made me to think and feel that the next time I got the chance to interview him that set of interviews would represent the concluding sections of this book.

“So when he arrived in Phoenix on June 2nd and I was blessed to have dinner with him that night, I looked at and listened to my Brother for signs or hints that this was it! The next morning when he came to my home it was clear to me from the jewels that began to drop from his mouth that this was it!

“A few days later, on June the 5th I asked him a question concerning a letter the Honorable Elijah Muhammad wrote me back in 1966. I was considering whether or not to place it in the nextand final edition of Is It Possible That The Honorable Elijah Muhammad is Still Physical Alive???

I interviewed the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan on a few topics. One of them was what he thought about my idea of placing the letter that the Honorable Elijah Muhammad sent to me back in November 1966, in this book. Here was his response.

“There is no witness stronger than his own witness of what he knew would come to him, except Allah. He told you in the letter that he would escape a death plot. He gave several instances of scripture that confirmed that.

“So our saying he’s alive is strengthened by his words and he confirms what we’ve been saying that he is alive in the face of those who say: ‘Well the Honorable Elijah Muhammad never said nothing like that’ or ‘I never heard nothing like that’ or ‘I don’t believe the Honorable Elijah Muhammad is alive.’

“Well here’s a letter that he wrote at such and such a time in a certain context. And he bears witness that he would be taken on the heels of a death plot. Then, in connection with this death plot, the Honorable Elijah Muhammad told you that, ‘If Allah had not shown me how I was going to escape, I would have no hope.’”

“In other books to be reprinted, and in others to be published soon, be it the will of Allah, I intend to cite testimonies from Minister Farrakhan and others on this subject of the veracity of the Honorable Elijah Muhammad’s statement in his letter, and that he is, indeed, alive, well and in power.

“In The Fall of America, chapter 58, he wrote: ‘The disbeliever believes that which he sees present and not that which is prophesied to come.’”

“What I’ve just covered is vital, although this was not the material I really wanted to get into. I wanted to ask Minister Farrakhan questions that would bring from him answers directly intended to help the Believers get more of the light that is mentioned in Surah 57 verses 12-19.

“This passage begins with verse 12 and says: ‘On that day thou wilt see the faithful men and the faithful women, their light gleaming before them and on their right hand.’

“One does not have to be a scholar of the scriptures to see that here is a direct relationship between this passage in the Holy Qur’an–especially verse 13–and the parable made by Jesus of the five wise and the five foolish virgins. I am among those who heard certain words from the Honorable Elijah Muhammad and Minister Farrakhan that illuminates these two sets of scriptures.

“I strongly feel that his departure is nigh. Therefore, I wanted to ask him questions that would produce from him answers from his Backers which would cast increased light on the path on that which the Believers are moving on as this hour grows darker.

“As I wrote earlier in this book, my questions are the outgrowth of specific things, which both the Honorable Elijah Muhammad and the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan asked of me, which Allah guided me to ask. I’m grateful to Allah for guiding my heart to raise the questions that I did to my Beloved Brother.

“This book represents a major aspect of the help I have tried to be, and provide, to the Ministers of Minister Farrakhan, specifically since February 1991 and that I had in mind when I was privileged to speak for about a minute at some point before Minister Farrakhan delivered his Saviours’ Day address in 2004.

“Let us begin. And, let us begin with the mention of the condition Minister Farrakhan was in. I think it’s important for the reader to again reflect on the fact that Minister Farrakhan was not well and oft times was in pain; sometimes terrific pain that also affected me. Then he would slowly sit down and look to me for my question or questions.

“He did not know what I was going to ask him during this time period, during June and July 2006 as was with all of the questions I had asked him in all of the interviews over the years, except possibly one. In that one, I inadvertently may have given him the barest kind of hint of what was in my mind.

“Every morning and every afternoon, when he came to see the doctor and myself, I would be standing outside of my door, to greet him. I also studied him. Some mornings or afternoons he would walk up to my door in obvious discomfort. There were other times when he would be stepping quite lively.

“Although I did not keep track of when he looked pretty goodand when he didn’t–in terms of a count–certain scenes stand out in my mind as I’m writing this now in September 2006. So I’ll make comments on this at the head of various interviews, which follows.”
