29. Then did they receive gold?
30. NO. The trader disappeared and there was no one that could speak their language.
31. Then what happened?
32. WELL, they wanted to go to their own country, but they could not swim nine thousand miles.
33. Why didn’t their own people come and get them?
34. Because their own people did not know that they were here.
35. When did their own people find out that they were here?
36. Approximately sixty years ago.

In Problem No. 11 of our Wisdom book, we are given to study the history of the building of the Suez Canal in Egypt. One named person invested so many shares of stock in its construction and he wants to know how much money he has coming to him at a certain percentage rate from 1869 to May 26, 1933. I found it very interesting that the King Tut exhibit in Chicago opened at the Field Museum on May 26 of this year with a stunning display of an overwhelming amount of gold objects representing the find of King Tut’s tomb in the Valley of the Kings in Egypt. As I continued walking with my companions from The Final Call newspaper office with our Field Museum escort through this stunning exhibit of 11 galleries, my memories of my association with Egypt in the past and present and future perfect tense continued to unfold.
It was in 1962 when I visited the Field Museum in Chicago where some of the discoveries of King Tut’s tomb and some of the characters of the 18th Dynasty were first exhibited. Following the exhibit, I purchased a black bust of Queen Nefertiti, the wife of the enigmatic Pharaoh Akhenaton, as a gift to present to the Honorable Elijah Muhammad. During a table talk discussion in his home in the presence of two of his sons from his wife Mother Clara Muhammad, he talked to us about his visit to the Cairo Museum in Egypt; where he was hosted for 10 days by the late President Abdul Nasser in 1959-1960, and where he saw on display many similar busts of the ancient kings and rulers of dynastic Egypt. He shared with us that the bust I presented him reminded him of that state visit.
In reference to Egypt and memories, I recalled a particularly interesting meeting that I had with a psychic woman who was introduced to me by my sister, Karlotta, and she was able to take me in a semi-trance state wherein I revealed some interesting events that were taking place in Egypt during the time of the 18th Dynasty. It appeared in my visionary trance-state that I was a guardian or keeper over a small boy in a beautiful palace along the banks of the Nile. Suddenly, the doors were flung open and certain priests wearing leopard skin cloaks and bald heads entered aggressively to do harm to me and the boy. I awakened from that scene stating that that won’t happen this time.
In 1970, while in Mexico City, I was preparing a musical recording entitled “The Muslim Song and March of Victory,” when I had an unusual meeting with Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. They had just concluded a few years earlier the film on Cleopatra. Recently, I attended an exhibit at the Art Institute on the Pharaoh Akhenaton and Queen Nefertiti accompanied by Kenneth Muhammad, the official photographer of The Final Call, and later an exhibit on Cleopatra at the Field Museum in which one of the photo displays showed Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton in the film on Cleopatra.
In the early 1980s, I began to share my picture book experience in comparing 18th Dynastic statutes to individuals walking around us that looked very similar. In 1975, within three months of the Honorable Elijah Muhammad’s departure, I found myself on a journey accompanied by two of my children to Cairo, Egypt. My purpose was to record the “Muslim Song and March of Victory” with the help of famous composer and arranger, Amar Sharia, in the television studios of Cairo. It was this year when the film, “Messenger of God,” was in production in nearby Libya. It was the making of this film which I discussed in a private meeting with the secretary of Richard Burton during that visit in Puerto Vallarta in 1970.
Just prior to the Honorable Elijah Muhammad’s departure, he spoke to me in Mexico about his thoughts concerning another visit to Egypt. We will recall that when the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan was in the process of purchasing Mosque Maryam and the period of renovation began, he discovered a crated tomb on the side entrance to the mosque which had never been opened. When it was opened, we found a marble mausoleum tomb that was shipped to Chicago from Egypt. It bore his name and the verses from Surah 112. This tomb has been placed behind the curtains on the stage of Mosque Maryam at this present day. Also in keeping with the theme of Egypt, National Geographic documented and presented on television June 4 the discovery of a new tomb in the Valley of the Kings very near to King Tut’s tomb. More information will be forthcoming about the seven miniature tombs and 28 jars unveiled at this moment within the next six months.
We are now living in a scientific age of the greatest discoveries about ourselves, our earth and our universe, which no one can deny. Particularly, the information highway on the Internet and the world of modern technology is revealing truths that have never been revealed before. Particularly, the Black man’s history and genius have been hidden from the world so that others could rule. That is why it took God Himself to initiate the resurrection of the mentally dead members of the human family of the Planet Earth, found buried in the mud of civilization in America and the Western Hemisphere. The awesome display of the golden treasures found in King Tut’s tomb, the Valley of the Kings and the 18th Dynastic Rulers buried on the Western side of the Nile Valley is a sign that we, who were stolen from Africa, would be found again and resurrected in the West. This represents the journey of the life of the Hereafter, which is part of the belief system of the ancient Egyptians–our ancestors and ancient forefathers.
“Were not My messages recited to you, but you used to reject them? They will say: Our Lord, our adversity overcame us, and we were an erring people. Our Lord, take us out of it; then if we return (to evil), we shall be unjust. He will say: Begone therein, and speak not to Me. Surely there was a party of My servants who said; Our Lord, we believe, so forgive us and have mercy on us, and Thou are the Best of those who show mercy.” -Holy Qur’an, Surah 23, verses 105-108
