“All wisdom is from the Lord … .”–The Book of Sirach (or Ecclesiasticus) 1:1
›My article in the last two issues are not the same although some material is repeated, but the context is significantly different.
In Volume 21, Number 23 of The Final Call, I wrote: “Dictionaries define ‘story’ to mean an account or a recital of an event or a series of events, or happenings, either true or fictitious. It’s a narrative of incidents in their sequence. ‘Narrative,’ ‘story-line’ or ‘plot,’ basically mean the same. They all have beginnings and endings. So it is with the scriptures.
“We are at the very end of the Bible’s and the Holy Qur’an’s ‘story-line’ or ‘narrative.’ ”
Can this be proven? If so, what does this mean to each man, woman and child living here in America and elsewhere on this earth?
In fact, what does the word “prove” mean? Why do we want and/or have need or seem to have an inborn need to “prove” anything? How often does proving anything take place every day in every year everywhere on this earth? Can we live without proofs?
Countless issues, problems and decisions are settled every day, the world over, with that which is called proofs.
Again, Farrakhan: The Traveler, Volume 25, Number 12 contains this: ‘I conclude this part of this article with a question. What is the best way to comprehend this whole ‘thing’ that has happened in America–from the Appearance of God to this moment, and what’s in the immediate future? Moreover, why ought we to understand this anyway? The best way to start or begin is by studying Minister Farrakhan.
“I intend, by the help of Allah and His Christ, to show and prove this to be true–be it the will of Allah–until it is ‘concluded.’ ”
First, proofs for and the complete explanation of these proofs of the truth were given long ago. By the words “long ago” I am not merely referring, in a sense, to decades ago. I am referring to, first, thousands of years ago and, second, to a much longer time than that.
Those “proofs” and “explanations” have been verified in that which has been offered by the Honorable Elijah Muhammad and redelivered by the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan since the early 1930s to the present time.
I am one of many students of the Honorable Elijah Muhammad and the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan in the Nation of Islam, and a bearer of witness of the truth they have delivered.
The proofs are absolute. The explanations of these proofs are of the highest order, are scientific, complete and comprehensive. These proofs included that which Master Fard Muhammad–the Author of the message–has conceived, planned and executed all that is contained in the teaching He taught the modern Moses and Aaron–all of which is verified in the Bible and Holy Qur’an.
All of this has been laid open and clear before the American public as well as Black America.
This explanation includes why there has been so much confusion and why so many have rejected the core truths of the message of the Honorable Elijah Muhammad, which has been so amplified and trumpeted throughout America and the earth.
Before we plunge into these proofs, we ought to clarify exactly what we are witnessing to and why. I must present a few terms that are relevant to what we are looking at, with some comments on them.
According to the Webster’s Dictionary, the word “verify” means “to prove the truth of, as by evidence or testimony; confirm; to ascertain the truth; authenticity, or correctness of, as by examination, research, or comparison; to act as ultimate proof or evidence of; serve to confirm.”
The American Heritage Dictionary defines “verify” to mean “to prove the truth of by presentation of evidence or testimony; substantiate; to determine or test the truth or accuracy of, as by comparison, investigation, or reference.”
Webster’s Dictionary of Synonyms states that “verify has for its distinctive implication the established correspondence of the actual facts or details to those that are given in an account, a statement, or the like. When that which is in question is a suspicion, a fear, a probability, or the like, it can be verified only in the result, event, or fulfillment; as, the prediction of a severe storm was verified in every detail.
“In its more common current sense, verify implies a deliberate effort to establish the accuracy or truth of something by putting it to a test such as a comparison with ascertainable facts, an original, or a series of control experiments; as, to verify all the citations in a book; statements of accounts due are not sent out until they are verified; the careful scientist verifies every step in an experiment … .”
The prophecies of the prophets of God verify the interpretations of the scriptures as taught by the Honorable Elijah Muhammad and his Teaching verifies their prophecies.
This includes the fact that Minister Farrakhan, in particular, was chosen by God to specially assist the Honorable Elijah Muhammad–even to confirm him–as it was prophesied by God’s prophets that he would.
It is written that the Almighty raised up Aaron for Moses, his brother. It’s further written that Moses consecrated him and anointed him with holy oil. Moses entrusted him with his commandments committed to him to statures of the law to teach and enlighten the people. And there was a rebellion against him, which displeased God. The Almighty overwhelmed them and added to Aaron’s glory. You may read this in the 45th chapter of Sirach.
Now, suppose you read such material in a book that is in a larger book called Bible. Suppose you then told one of your friends that this is among the references to a Black man who was born in Bronx, New York City in 1933 and who was raised in Boston. Suppose you further told your friend that what was written of Aaron was prophecy and is verified today in the life and works of a man they could see and hear today, Minister Farrakhan? How do you think your friend will react? What field or fields of science would you have to know (and to what extent) to verify your position?
In his book, “The Nature of Social Science,” Professor George Homans wrote: “Though stating and testing relationships between properties of nature is what makes a science, it is certainly not the only thing a scientist tries to do. Indeed, we judge not the existence, but the success, of a science by its capacity to explain.
He continues: “no ‘big’ word is more often used in social science than the word “theory.” Yet, how seldom do we ask our students–or more significantly ourselves–what a theory is. But a theory of a phenomenon is an explanation of the phenomenon, and nothing that is not an explanation is worthy of the name theory.
“I am, of course, using ‘explanation’ in the special sense of explaining why under given conditions a particular phenomenon occurs and not in one of the vaguer senses in which we use the word as when we “explain” how to drive a car by telling a youngster what to do with the controls in various circumstances.”
