(FinalCall.com) – For former NBA New York Knicks player Larry Johnson, becoming a partner in Everlasting Water with Tedarell Muhammad and Tadar Muhammad was more than just a business decision.
“It was about making sure our people have good quality water. One thing everyone needs is water. I love the taste of Everlasting Water. If I was going to get involved in any business deal, it was going to be this,” Mr. Johnson told The Final Call. “I also want to help this company get off the ground. I bring a certain expertise to this company and with Tedarell’s and Tadar’s skills, we’re going to make this happen.”
Everlasting Water has also become the means for 25 children to take their first trip to Africa.
“I donated $25,000 in the company’s name to the Dallas Muhammad University of Islam so 25 children can go to Africa this summer. I have two sons that attend the school. They’re going and I’m going, too,” he revealed.
The trip to Africa, sponsored by Adventures in Africa Tours, has been promoted around the country by Minister Akbar Muhammad, International Representative of the Nation of Islam.
“We’ve taken a lot of children to Africa. It is an unforgettable experience for them. They are greatly impacted by the pyramids in Egypt and the Cairo Museum. In Ghana, they visit the slave dungeons,” Min. Akbar told The Final Call. “The trip is a rich experience for the children. It is one they will never forget and will talk about it for years to come.”
Jobs and opportunities
Have you seen Everlasting Water on the shelves of your local grocery store, convenience store or drink machine? If not, the opportunity exists for people to wholesale the water in their community. The company plans to develop nationwide sales teams that take the water right to the community.
“We’re targeting five cities right now to begin selling the water: Chicago, Dallas, Memphis, New York and Atlanta. We plan to hire nine to 12 people as representatives,” Bro. Tedarrell informed.
“The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan told me that this is the best water,” Bro. Tadar shared. “We want everyone to enjoy it as much as he does.”
(Everlasting Water can be purchased in 16 oz. bottles, 32 oz. bottles, gallon jugs or five gallon containers for dispensers. For more information, visit www.everlastingspring.com.)
