The Cultural Revolution Begins/In Search of the Messiah

In the story of Moses, which we read throughout the Holy Qur’an, as well in the Biblical narratives, he was commissioned by God to go to Pharoah pleading for the delivery of his enslaved people. When God called him, he felt that he was inadequate in speech to deliver that message, so he requested of God to give him, as a helper, his brother Aaron.
When Moses asked God how he should represent Him to the people, God answered in these words: “I am that I am has sent thee.” He was also given nine signs to demonstrate the Power of God that was with him. We know that, as both the Biblical and Qur’anic narratives continue, these nine signs were demonstrated with various plagues and disasters visited Pharoah, and the land. Among them was the work of a particular angel who afflicted the quality of the water, which was filled with blood and pestilence, and a foul smell.
The tragic disaster that struck the Gulf Coast of the United States in Louisiana and Mississippi has shaken America and the entire world on many levels of horrific proportions, with the worst yet to come. The news media covering this disaster, as well as government officials, have declared that it is the worst disaster that has ever struck America in its history. While the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan has been touring some of the cities in the eastern part of the United States, preparing the masses of our people to participate in the mobilization and organization aspects of the Millions More Movement and 10th Commemorative Anniversary of the Million Man March, the country has literally been shut down by nature’s weapons of mass destruction, which has shocked everyone across the country and the entire world. It was not an ordinary disaster. This time it immobilized an entire city being literally under water.
Knowing the time and the closing of a cycle or period in history, the Divine Teachings of the Honorable Elijah Muhammad have once again struck home with increasing severity as the plagues continue. We are now bracing for two more hurricanes coming up out of the Gulf of Mexico and the Caribbean that are headed for the Florida Keys and may possibly bring more torrents of rain to Louisiana. I could not help but recall the Honorable Minister Farrakhan’s words regarding the Gulf War and its comparison to the destruction that has struck the Gulf Coast of America.
In my final reflected thoughts, I looked at the name “Louisiana” and could not help but recognize that the first part of the letters and words spell the name Louis. If we take the second part, it ends with the word “Ana.” In the Arabic language, “Ana” translates to “I Am.” Now, connect that to the name that God revealed to Moses to identify Himself to Pharoah, “I am that I am has sent thee.” According to the story of Moses in the Bible, he went before Pharoah with his helper Aaron, and he instructed Aaron to use his rod as a sign of the Power of God being with both of them in the final delivery of his people.
It is not an accident that the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan is the only voice of leadership that is warning the people in this final judgment of America and the world, to know with clear recognition that it is God who is bringing these plagues upon America for holding 40 million Black people enslaved in her midst. As it was 4,000 years ago, the world is now seeing the completion of that history right here in the greatest country in the world. The world is horrified at the condition of seeing the stark poverty, inequality and lack of response of government to the oppressed people, who are most certainly held captive in this country without freedom, justice and equality.
According to the Holy Qur’an, Pharoah orders his agents or his military to slay the men and keep the women alive. That is the way of a despotic king or ruler to kill the Messenger and the Message, to keep the people away from Divine Guidance. The horrific disaster of Katrina has not ended.

And among men is he who disputes about Allah without knowledge, and without guidance, and without an illuminating Book. Turning away haughtily to lead men astray from the way of Allah.
