“And when it is said to them, ‘Follow what Allah has revealed,’ they say: ‘Nay, we follow that wherein we found our fathers. What! Even though their fathers had no sense at all, nor did they follow the right way.’” (Holy Qur’an, 2:170)
Book TV (via C-SPAN) announced that “Richard John Neuhaus will be our guest for In Depth on June 5th. Father Neuhaus, a priest of the Archdiocese of New York … . In 2005, Time magazine called him one of the 25 most influential evangelicals in America.”
In this interview, he demonstrated the intelligence one should, when publicly presenting views one expects will be resisted. He made certain key points relevant to the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan’s “pain” and the contents of this article. So, I intend to return to his words soon.
›Theologians teach that Jesus of 2,000 years ago died in the year 33 AD. Three days later, he was resurrected. He then spent a few days with his closest followers. Afterwards, he ascended to God in heaven.
The Book of Acts in the Bible opens with Jesus ascending into the sky, with several watching. Paul and others repeatedly write that Jesus was physically up over them in “heaven.”
Jesus’ mother died long before the end of the century when Jesus died.
Christian theologians teach that, at the end of that century, (96 or 98 AD), one of Jesus’ followers was granted visions that were formed into a book entitled “Revelation.”
Revelation opens, in verse one, with the announcement that these visions came from God through Jesus to a follower of Jesus and that they are of “things which must shortly come to past.”
What follows now are paraphrased and condensed material from a book I wrote on Minister Farrakhan and his teacher. Let’s look briefly at the fifth and the 12th Chapter of Revelation.
In the vision of the fifth chapter of Revelation, a man (symbolically referred to as a “Lamb”) is seen entering the dwelling place of God. He arrives there in bad shape–as if he had “been slain.” But nevertheless, he is alive and has great power.
Theologians teach that this man symbolically referred to as “Lamb” was Jesus. Could this follower have had this vision about an experience Jesus already had about 60 years earlier, and yet God is the author of this vision through Jesus to this follower at the moment the follower received the vision, at the end of that century?
The vision of the 12th chapter of Revelation is of a pregnant woman who delivers a male child, who grows up to rule the nations of the earth.
Until a few years ago, the Catholic Church taught that she was Mary. But the Mother of Jesus had died several years before the vision of the woman was granted. What’s the explanation?

I doubt if there is a serious Christian or Muslim theologian who disputes the fact that Satan has ruled this world for the last several thousand years. So, how can they have the ultimate understanding of the scriptures before it was given to the Honorable Elijah Muhammad?
Everyone and everything has suffered in the last 6,000 years of Satan’s rule. It’s written in The New International Reader’s Version Romans 8:22: “We know that all that God created has been groaning. It is in pain as if it were giving birth to a child. The created world continues to groan even now.”
Today, this groaning, or pervasive pain, experienced by human beings harms even the lowest creatures–produced by Satan–and has now reached its zenith.
But just before Satan’s end, the rise of the spiritually dead must occur. Look at the correspondence between the scriptures and Minister Farrakhan’s (and his teacher’s) work in America with Black people and others.
The Amplified translation of Peter II (1: 19-21) teaches that God’s word is referred to as a “light shining” in a dismal (squalid and dark) place.
We’re urged to “understand this, that no prophecy of Scripture is [a matter] of any personal or private or special interpretation… For no prophecy ever originated because some man willed it … but men spoke from God who were borne along (moved and impelled) by the Holy Spirit.”
Isaiah 9:2 reads of us: “The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light: they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined.”
Then, of us long ago, we read: “When the sun was setting, a deep sleep overcame Abram, and a horror (a terror, a shuddering fear) of great darkness assailed and oppressed him.” (Amplified Bible, Genesis 15:12)
“A deep sleep fell upon Abram; and lo, a horror of great darkness fell upon him.” (The 21st Century King James Version, Genesis 15:12)
“Abram fell into a deep sleep, and everything became dark and frightening … ‘your descendants will live as foreigners in a land that doesn’t belong to them. They will be forced into slavery and abused for four hundred years. But I will terribly punish the nation that enslaves them, and they will leave with many possessions.” (Contemporary English Version, Genesis 15:12-14)
Then: “Abram fell into a deep sleep. A thick and terrible darkness covered him. Then the Lord said to him, ‘You can be sure of what I am about to tell you. Your children who live after you will be strangers in a country that does not belong to them. They will become slaves. They will be treated badly for 400 years. But I will punish the nation that makes them slaves. After that, they will leave with all kinds of valuable things.’” (New International Reader’s Version, Genesis 15:12-14)
These “valuable things” are spiritual. The rest comes later.
Allah brought Abraham, in his spirit, down into these times, to see and then prophesy of today. When Abraham was alive 5,000 years ago, we had already fallen for 45,000 years of the 50,000 we were to fall into the hands of our enemies–for God’s purpose.
This produced a condition that, for the first time since time began, corresponds to the time that existed at time’s beginning. (The Native People have hit bottom, too.) This is that time.
Then, He announced: “I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.” (Isaiah 65:17)
The Holy Qur’an states: “We created not the heavens and the earth and all between them save with truth and for an appointed term.” (46:17)
We’ve arrived at the “appointed term.” The recreation has just recently begun.
This is the new day when it was to be fulfilled that “it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.”
(Our enemies are also being granted Mercy. Remember, Babylon could have been saved.)
For our pain came God Himself. Out of our pain came the Honorable Elijah Muhammad and Minister Farrakhan.
And, in part, out of the pain of Black women came an address to 10,000 (or more) at the World Congress Center in Atlanta, Georgia on June 25, 1994.
It was delivered by a majestic and humble Black man: Minister Farrakhan. His subject: A Nation Can Rise No Higher That Its Woman.
