Previous Farrakhan The Traveler Articles

“Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins. (James 5:20) And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover [a] multitude of sins. (1Peter 4:8)

Today is called Palm Sunday. It’s seen by around a billion–more or less, depending on whose information you view–as the most significant week in history.

In order to fulfill my purpose, as mentioned in the last few articles, we must focus on a concept variously recorded, in the scriptures, that bear on the events of this week and beyond to the events to come during our spiritual march to culminate on October 16, 2005.

This concept is contained in such words, which are recorded in the scriptures as raised; lifted; lifted up; received up; exalt and exaltation.

In the book of Luke 9:51 of The King James Version we read: “And it came to pass, when the time was come that he should be received up, he steadfastly set his face to go to Jerusalem.”

The Contemporary English Version of the Bible records this event with these words: “Not long before it was time for Jesus to be taken up to heaven, he made up his mind to go to Jerusalem.”

But the Amplified Bible reads: “Now when the time was almost come for Jesus to be received up [to heaven], He steadfastly and determinedly set His face to go to Jerusalem.”

The writer is stating that the move Jesus and those with him were making was directed by the supreme power.

This is also indicated in different ways, as in Surah 3 verse 54 of the Muhammad Ali translation of The Holy Qur’an, which reads: “When Allah said: ‘O Jesus, I will cause thee to die and exalt thee in My presence … .’ “

From pages 35-36 of Is It Possible That The Honorable Elijah Muhammad Is Still Physically Alive??? we read:

“We read that Jesus’ enemies planned. So did Allah. He planned in such way so as to make their plans against Jesus serve His (Allah’s) purpose.

“Verse 54 reads: ‘When Allah said: ‘O Jesus, I will cause thee to die and exalt thee in My presence and clear thee of those who disbelieve and make those who follow thee above those who disbelieve to the day of Resurrection. Then to Me is your return, so I shall decide between you concerning that wherein you differ.’

“Verse 55 reads: “Then as to those who disbelieve, I shall chastise them with severe chastisement in this world and the Hereafter, and they will have no helpers.

“The believers are promised a great reward by Allah in the next verse. Then in verse 59 we read: ‘(This is) the truth from thy Lord, so be not of the disputers.’ We are then told by Allah in verse 61 that what we have just read of Jesus is the true account.

“Here are other translations of verse 54. The translator’s name is given first, then his translation.

“Yusuf Ali: ‘Behold! Allah said ‘O Jesus! I will take thee and raise thee to Myself and clear thee (of the falsehood) of those who blaspheme; I will make those who follow thee superior to those who reject faith, to the day of Resurrection… .’

“Abdul Majied: “Recall what time Allah said: ‘O Isa! verily I shall make thee die, and am lifting thee to Myself and am purifying thee from those who disbelieve… .’

“Sher’ Ali: ‘When Allah said, ‘O Jesus, I will cause thee to die a natural death and will exalt thee to Myself, and will clear thee from the charges of those who disbelieve… .’

“Nazir Ahmad: ‘When Allah said: ‘O Jesus! I will cause you to die and exalt you in My presence and clear you of those who disbelieve… .’

“Geoffrey Parrinder: ‘Recall when God said: ‘O Jesus, I am going to bring thy term to an end and raise thee to Myself, and purify thee from those who have disbelieved… .’

“J. M. Rodwell: “Remember when God said, ‘O Jesus! verily I will cause thee to die, and will take thee up to Myself and will deliver thee from those who believe not… .’ “

“A. J. Arberry: ‘When God said, ‘Jesus, I will take thee to Me, and will purify thee of those who believe not.’

“A. Maududi: ‘(It was to carry out His secret plan that) He said, ‘O Jesus, now I will recall you and raise you up to Myself and cleanse you of (the uncongenial company and the filthy environment of) those who have rejected you… .’ “

The above quotes are part of a section of Surah 3 that is referred to as “the true account… .” This section is Surah 3:41 — 62.

Of course most Christians and Muslims differ over this account. But they won’t differ if they honestly study the Saviours’ Day Address delivered worldwide, by the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan. That speech puts them on the same page.

We just can’t call ourselves intellectually honest and yet refuse to study, to ponder and to discuss that address. He showed the interrelatedness, the harmony, the complete agreement of the character, assignments or missions and works of Abraham, Moses, Jesus and Muhammad, in such a super clear manner from the Torah, Gospels and Qur’an. In so doing, he laid the perfect basis, for the best dialogue, on the most crucial subject, at the most critical time of this world’s history.

This world is coming apart. America is falling and breaking up. This has been documented over and over again, every year, every month, every week, every day, every hour–around the clock.

The masses of Black people have already fallen through the floor of hell. The wicked well off don’t care. The well off, but not as wicked, but yet too evil, scared and selfish to act right by the Black masses–except those with or who are joining with Minister Farrakhan, openly or otherwise.

He showed why and how the leaders of all of these religions must immediately confer over the Messiah’s identity. The time and the state of the world–and of Black America (the real problem of the world)–demands it NOW!

But whether or not they do this and speak the truth of the Messiah and his Messianic people, God is and God will!

My view is, that soon his Backers will say to Minister Farrakhan, in effect: “Alright son. You have done your best to teach and warn them all. Now, We have something more for you to do for them, but not until after we do something for them. It’s time for the wind to blow on these bones. Then they’ll be ready to hear you.”

On February 27th Minister Farrakhan mentioned his question to me on how his mind would be lined up with the mind of his teacher. As he said the answer was easy. All his teacher had to do was to take him through what God took him (his teacher) through.

But I added this: “Of course you would have to have the same kind of heart that he has, and of course, you do.”

Minister Farrakhan said something else on this subject at another time, that is saving grace for us all. More on that and Minister Farrakhan’s heart, which is easy to see, next issue, Allah willing.
