IN SEARCH OF THE MESSIAH
“Seest thou not that to Allah makes submission whoever is in the heavens and whoever is in the earth, and the sun and the moon and the stars, and the mountains and the trees, and the animals and many of the people? And many there are to whom chastisement is due. And he whom Allah abases, none can give him honour. Surely Allah does what He pleases.”–Holy Qur’an, Surah 22, verse 18
›The number one thousand has been used and interpreted by Biblical and Qur’anic scholars to analyze prophetic history throughout the ages. The number one thousand has also been incorporated into world famous literature from the East, such as the Thousand and One Nights Stories of Shaharazad and the Caliph of Bahgdad, Aladine and Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves. In the Holy Qur’an, there are several passages that refer to a one thousand year setback in the progress of Islam’s Final Triumph in the world. Both Bible and Holy Qur’an refer to a day’s measurement equal to one thousand years. Christian Theology also refers to the one thousand years of Christ’s Rule and Dominion on Earth.
In Surah 97, entitled Al-Qadr: The Majesty, refers to a special Night, or “Lailat al-Qadr,” in which the Revelation of the Holy Qur’an began its transmission to the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) on a particular night deemed to be the most Blessed Night of the seventh century A.D. Now, if we carry the significance of that period into the end time of its prophetic Revelation into this 21st Century, then we encounter another period of The Night of Majesty in the final prophetic picture which extends into the Western Hemisphere with a particular focus on the United States of America.
It is in America where we find a people, the Black ex-slaves, who are thought to be no people at all, who were slain from the foundation of the world and buried in the mud of civilization, fulfilling a history clearly corresponding to that of Israel in bondage to Pharoah, now lasting more than 400 years. This proves that the Scriptures of both Bible and Qur’an must be read and understood in the past, present and future time being perfect, or manifests in the perfect moment of time. Many people are stuck in the past and cannot seem to move into the present moment of reality. Time is always measured in the progressive tense of the Now, and if we do not keep up with the present moment, or modern time, then we are enslaved to the past and can never see the future and time appears to be passing us by.
In celebrating the upcoming 7th Anniversary of the Million Man March and The World’s Day of Atonement, we are also celebrating the birth date of the Honorable Elijah Muhammad, on October 7, 1897 as another consequential Night of Majesty. We recognize the number 97 as corresponding to Surah 97, The Night of Majesty, as very pronounced and carrying great significance. Prefixing the number 19 to 97, we are given the time line of 1997, one hundred years following his birth, while continuing to unfold its’ meaning as communicated to us through the Vision-like Experience of the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan in the Mexican Village of Tepotzlan, on the evening of September 17, 1985. All the above said implies the activation of energy and consciousness manifesting itself in parallel worlds and indeed in parallel Universes in which we are all fellow travelers in a constant journey to meet the Lord God of our Being.
Surely Allah will make those who believe and do good deeds enter Gardens wherein flow rivers–they are adorned therein with bracelets of gold and (with) pearls. And their garments therein are of silk. And they are guided to pure words, and they are guided to the path of the Praised One.”–Holy Qur’an, Surah 22, verses 23 & 24
