The above statement by the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan is a statement all of us should consider. As the genocide against the Palestinian people in Gaza and the West Bank continues, governments and people around the world are most certainly being tested. Whether we pass or fail, this particular test will ultimately be determined by Almighty God, Allah. This puts us all in the valley of decision.

Lines are clearly being established: people who are outspoken in their support of the Palestinian people and condemn the genocidal actions of Israel, and people who, in their blind loyalty to Israel, attempt to silence these outspoken voices with the false label of “anti-Semitism.” For what? For simply having compassion, being sensitive to human suffering, and having the nerve to express sympathy for Palestinian suffering? This support often comes with a cost to those who dare speak out: smears by the media, threats to careers, livelihoods, or fines.

Those who fail to see the suffering of the Palestinian people are willing to use their money, influence, and power to try to silence and punish these voices for freedom, justice, and equality due to a blind loyalty to Israel and to certain members of the Jewish community.

But strong voices and actions from entertainers and athletes are continuing to join the chorus of others around the world who are standing up for Palestine and condemning the atrocities perpetrated by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the Israeli regime.

Recently, Grammy-winning rap and pop artist Macklemore was removed from multi-platinum artist Ed Sheeran’s tour for simply expressing his support for Palestine. During an early September stop of the tour at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J., Macklemore said in part: “I said Free Palestine. I want those words to be loud and clear, so the people from Gaza, all the way to the occupied West Bank, know that we have not forgotten them.” He also stated, “To all of my Jewish brothers and sisters: criticism of Israel, criticism of apartheid, being against genocide in no way is a criticism of you. My message is for peace; love for all human beings to be treated with dignity, respect, and equality. So, I say Free Palestine, I say Free Lebanon, I say Free Cuba, I say Free Congo, Free Sudan, I say free all people in America living in fear of this terrorist organization, ICE. None of us will be free until we are all free.”

It was later reported that Robert Kraft, the Jewish billionaire owner of the NFL’s New England Patriots and owner of Gillette Stadium, and friend of Prime Minister Netanyahu, contacted Ed Sheeran. According to Macklemore, Kraft told Sheeran that he had contacted other NFL owners and would not allow the rapper to perform at their stadiums.

Macklemore was subsequently removed from the tour. However, in a sign of solidarity, other artists withdrew, including Finneas, who posted on Instagram, “Artists must not be silenced when they speak up for the oppressed. I have decided to withdraw from my upcoming tour dates with Ed Sheeran. I stand with Palestine and its people.” 

Azeez Al-Shaair, a pro-bowl linebacker with the NFL’s Houston Texans, also continues to take a stand. He was recently fined $11,492 for wearing “Hind Rajab” on his eye back during the first game of the season. Hind was a five-year-old Palestinian girl who was killed in Gaza City in 2024 along with other family members when Israeli troops fired multiple shots into their vehicle.

NBA star Kyrie Irving offered to pay his fellow athlete’s fine, posting on social media, “I’ll take care of his fine.” Last season, Al-Shaair was fined for wearing “Stop The Genocide.”

The topic of Israel and Palestine has been a volatile one for decades. In the 78 years since the State of Israel’s establishment in the Middle East, world sentiment has firmly been on the side of the occupier state for the most part. However, since its inception in 1948, which led to the expulsion and displacement of 700,000-750,000 Palestinians from their homeland, those left behind have been under an apartheid system. The Israeli government, with the help of the United States, has made daily life and conditions unbearable for the Palestinian people.

The U.S. government continues sending billions of dollars to Israel. The Trump administration is reportedly planning to deliver powerful 2,000-pound bombs to Israel as part of an upcoming $2.8 billion arms package which, according to Associated Press, “includes 40,000 of the bombs, made up of 20,000 Mk84s and 20,000 BLU-117s, according to two U.S. officials and a person familiar with the plan who spoke Sept. 15 on condition of anonymity to discuss the package, which is not yet final.” Rep. Gregory Meeks (D-NY), a member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, and his counterpart Senator Jeanne Shaheen (D-N.H.) placed a hold on the package, expressing concerns about more civilians being harmed, according to reporting from various news outlets. “All of us share concern about what Israel is doing,” Senator Shaheen told CNN.

America and Israel seem determined to continue their warmongering. But the opposition and pushback is getting stronger.

The Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad, the Eternal Leader of the Nation of Islam, warned of what would unfold in the Middle East, which is now unfolding today. In pages 171-172 of His landmark book, “The Fall of America,” in the chapter, “The Destruction and Fall,” the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad writes, “America and England deposited their little brother, Israel, on foreign soil, Palestine, which is Arab land. They deprived the Arabs of their own land and sent them into exile.” He then warns, “This injustice against the Arabs is now costing America the power and authority that she once exercised in the East. She is on her way out of the Near East. This means bloodshed and plenty of it.”

There have been nearly 73,000 deaths and 174,900 wounded in Gaza since October 7, 2023.

As Minister Farrakhan noted, we cannot and must not turn a blind eye to the plight of what the Palestinians have and continue to suffer under an apartheid regime.

“If you could look at their suffering, and it don’t move you, you have lost your humanity.  If you can see a dog suffer and have compassion … . If you can see your favorite horse suffer, where you’ve got to put him down, you feel pain!  Palestinian mothers are crying over the loss of their children!  I watched them cry; I watched them touch their babies that are dead, and don’t want to let the baby go to be buried,” Minister Farrakhan said during his 2024 Saviours’ Day message.

“That’s not a barbarian feeling, that’s a human feeling.  I saw Jews that were suffering, too, burying their dead, and weeping as the Palestinians are weeping.  These are not barbarians!  They have suffered from Israel’s presence in Palestine,” Minister Farrakhan said.

Are we on the side of freedom, justice, and equality for all, or on the side that chooses to remain silent, acquiesce, and compromise for comfort, while others suffer? The choice is ours. Today, we are all in the valley of decision.

When it comes to Messengers and Servants of Allah (God) whom He has raised and commissioned as a Warner and Guide to the people, scriptures are full of examples of people who were skeptical of what they taught and brought.

Noah, Moses, Jesus and Muhammad (peace be upon them) were ill-spoken of and mocked. But what these men taught, through the revealed Word of God, came to pass or was confirmed.

We will soon mark three years since the October 7 Hamas attack in Israel, which has subsequently led to the genocide, slaughter and displacement of tens of thousands of Palestinians in Gaza by the Israeli regime.

Western media outlets were swift to condemn Hamas and paint Israel as innocent victims while uttering the familiar refrain that “Israel has a right to defend itself.”

Yet there was one voice, above all others, that revealed to the world that, despite what was being portrayed and reported, Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu knew what Hamas was planning before the events of Oct. 7 unfolded.

The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan, National Representative of the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad, spoke to the world on February 25, 2024, at the Nation of Islam’s Saviours’ Day Convention in Detroit. His message: “What Does Allah, The Great Mahdi and The Great Messiah Have To Say About The War In The Middle East?”

During his address, Minister Farrakhan explained that his Teacher ordered him to be quiet while He revealed to him what came to pass. With no trepidation or hesitation, Minister Farrakhan revealed the truth before the world.

“While I was being quiet, the Honorable Elijah Muhammad did something. And I’ll start telling you about it now. In the middle of the night, I received a picture of the prime minister of Israel. A big picture! And he wanted me to study that man. Down in the corner of the picture …

He was there with some of the members of his war cabinet—but I didn’t know what they were talking about or whatnot. So, a day passed, and he brought back the picture, but enlarged it that I could see the prime minister talking with members of his war cabinet. 

They had drinks in their hand, wine; they were toasting the Jews that live near Gaza who would die a few days later on October the 7th when Hamas broke through and a lot of killing started,” Minister Farrakhan stated.

“Mr. Netanyahu knew all about it. Listen to me good! I let the media in because I want you to hear it! He already knew what Hamas was going to do because he sanctioned it. I want you to pay me good attention! And they were proposing a toast to the Jews who lived outside of the walls of Gaza that separated the Gazans from the Israelis.

They were toasting the innocence of Jews that on the 7th of October would be martyred. They were being martyred because he knew their plans, and he used their plans to help Hamas do what it did because he had in his mind a second Nakba,” Minister Farrakhan revealed.

Nakba, or “catastrophe/disaster” was and is the ethnic cleansing and displacement of the Palestinians from the land where the State of Israel was established in 1948.

Minister Farrakhan is not a man who speaks idle words. His very revelation on what Mr. Netanyahu knew in advance is being uncovered. Recently, Haaretz, the Israel-based media outlet, published what some may consider a “bombshell” article, titled, “Revealed: Netanyahu Received an Explicit Warning Days Before Oct. 7. He Didn’t Brief Israel’s Security Chiefs.”

Although the embattled prime minister has reportedly threatened to sue Haaretz for defamation, the publication stands by its reporting. The outlet alleges that Mohammed bin Zayed, president of the United Arab Emirates, warned Israel’s Shin Bet agency and then Prime Minister Netanyahu about a possible attack by Hamas 10 days before the events of October 7, 2023.

But that both dismissed the warnings. Haaretz also reported that Hamas offered to release all of its civilian captives they had captured and demanded nothing from Israel in return, but that Israel rejected that offer.

How many lives could have been spared over these past nearly three years had Mr. Netanyahu listened to and obeyed divine guidance? For decades, Minister Farrakhan has warned about what was in the mind of previous Israeli leadership up to and including Netanyahu.

“The first Nakba or ‘catastrophe’ on the Palestinians was done in 1948 when Israel became a state. And they exiled 700,000 Palestinians and made them like vagabonds in the Earth.

But Netanyahu had in mind that he was going to use the pain of their loss to destroy the whole Palestinian community not only in Gaza but the West Bank, East Jerusalem. It was a genocidal attack that he knew would preserve his place as a ‘great Jewish leader,’” Minister Farrakhan said during his Saviours’ Day message in 2024.

“People do strange things when their hatred is so great of the people that they are killing; that their intention was to cleanse Gaza of every Palestinian that lived there and cleanse the West Bank and East Jerusalem so that Israel would not be bothered with Palestinians anymore,” he continued.

The book of Deuteronomy, Chapter 18, Verses 21-22 state: “You may say to yourselves, ‘How can we know when a message has not been spoken by the Lord?’ If what a prophet proclaims in the name of the Lord does not take place or come true, that is a message the Lord has not spoken. That prophet has spoken presumptuously, so do not be alarmed.”

Minister Farrakhan is not a prophet; he is so much more than that. And he is most definitely not a madman, despite the slander and lies hurled at him for the last nearly 50 years.

What this recent reporting by Haaretz clearly confirms, and bears witness to regarding the actions of Prime Minister Netanyahu and the Israeli regime, is that Allah (God) and His Exalted Christ are speaking through and guiding the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan to reveal that neither God nor His Anointed Servant are to be mocked.

As it says in Surah 68, Ayat 7 of the Holy Qur’an: “Surely thy Lord knows best who is erring from His way, and He knows best those who go aright.” Minister Farrakhan is that warner from Allah (God) who goes aright.

This clip that he also shared on his social media platforms reminded me of my studies into the example demonstrated by the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan.

Our study of Minister Farrakhan is a study of not only his teaching, but also a study of him as the teacher of “the Teachings” of the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad, the Eternal Leader of the Nation of Islam.

The Minister’s words are often studied as they are frequently the subject of controversy, which all paradigm changing truths are in their beginnings.

But from my vantage point, the motivation and personal example of Minister Farrakhan deserve more study. There is a rich ample supply of wisdom and leadership principles found within a study of the sterling personal example of Minister Farrakhan.

The clip that Charlemagne posted on his Instagram page included the following profound and timely words from our beloved Minister from the message, “Exposing the Christmas Myth,” from December 22, 1985.

Consider the following words by Minister Farrakhan: “I’m just telling you straight up; you can take it or let it alone. I am from a teacher that loves you. I wasn’t prepared like this in college. College don’t prepare Black folk to be loving and patient to Black folk.

God has to prepare your heart—number one, to love your people. Because your own people are going to envy you, your own people are going to try to kill you, your own people are going to hate you, your own people are going to misunderstand you.

But you can’t give in; you’ve got to love them more than they hate you. That’s right. And that’s why there aren’t too many people who can stand up in front of you and have any longevity—you wiped them all out.

“But you didn’t wipe out my father, and you won’t wipe out his child, because I’ve got enough love in me for you to conquer every vestige of hate in you, for yourself and for me. Look, there isn’t anything you can say against me, about me, to me, to turn me around from my love for you.

You could attempt to kill me; the only thing that could stop me is that you killed me, but I would go to my death loving you, because I know that you are a better person underneath all the rubbish. I know that you are the people of God. And because I know that, I will continue to work until I see God coming to the surface. Do you hear me?

God is in you. But if you don’t work with Black people, you can’t bring God to the surface in Black people. You’re going to make somebody try to kill you because you’re just that ornery… . The Honorable Elijah Muhammad said that he was told by Master Fard Muhammad to ‘take plenty.’…”

Troublesome conditioning belies righteous nature

The profound words spoken by Minister Farrakhan in the clip played by Charlemagne Tha God help offer guidance to a burgeoning group of young and talented brothers and sisters within the Black community, and whose talents and rising profiles is helping to catapult them into leadership positions.

Many who observe cultural trends within the Black community recently witnessed the public and on-air venting by Invest Fest founder Rashad Bilal, reacting to some members of the Black community who offered criticisms of certain aspects of the popular Atlanta conference known as Invest Fest.

On The Blackout Podcast, Mr. Bilal stated: “I’m not even on the Black thing no more. I never was on the Black thing. ‘Not a Black event.’ I seen somebody say, ‘Oh there was White people …’ yeah, they’re qualified to be there.

You think I’m going to just cater to Black people just to get torn down by Black people? You’re out of your f**ing mind. It’s gonna be even more White people next year. And the Spanish and the Filipinos. I’m done. It’s been real. All you’re gonna do is criticize and tear it down and not pay and want to get in for free anyway.”

After viral negative reactions to his statements flooded the social media platforms, Mr. Bilal offered an apology for his words said in frustration over the criticisms coming from within his own community, the Black community.

As a student of the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan, I have found that it is helpful to follow the character and leadership profile of the Minister and not just his words.

To assist me in being a better emulator of my beloved teacher, in seeking to love my people more than they hate themselves, I have sought to familiarize myself with the conditions of my people that cause us to oftentimes criticize and tear down our own leaders.

My study of history helps me to see that we are not naturally so dysfunctional in our relationship with our leaders. My study of history helps me to appreciate the fact that distrust of our leaders and general distrust of one another was insisted upon by those who enslaved our fore-parents and ruled over us as oppressors.

Consider some of the insightful observations of a man who is recorded in history to have been the leader of the largest mass movement of Black people in American history. He offers this candid admission of the Black community’s criticism toward our own leaders and organizations.

The Honorable Marcus Mosiah Garvey stated: “The Aptitude of the Negro To Disobey Orders Coming From Himself”—The Negro in Western civilization, because of his environments that force upon him a complete inferiority, is the most stubborn individual to discipline within the race.

He has but little, if any, respect for internal racial authority. He cannot be depended upon to carry out an order given by a superior of his own race. If the superior attempts, in his presence, to enforce the order he is undermined and accused of ‘putting on airs.’

If the order is entrusted to a lieutenant, he, in turn, changes the order to suit himself and endeavors to constitute himself the superior individual. In my experience, as head of the largest serious Negro organization in the world.

I have found that to every hundred orders given to be executed for the absolute good of the organization and the race, not two percent of them have been carried out in their entirety. This lack of obedience to orders and discipline checkmates the real, worthwhile progress of the race.

This accounts for the Negro’s lack of racial nationalistic ideal. The only cure for him is his removal to an atmosphere entirely of his own, where he would be forced under rigid civil and other discipline to respect himself and his own racial authority.”—Philosophy and Opinions of Marcus Garvey, Volume II, Part 1

Mr. Garvey’s observations might be explained by considering the insights of Black History Month founder Carter G. Woodson, who stated: “Living in an environment where the actions of almost any colored man were suspected as insurrectionary, Negroes were frequently called upon to tell what they knew and were sometimes forced to say what they did not know.

Furthermore, to prevent the slaves from cooperating to rise against their masters, they were often taught to mistreat and malign each other to keep alive a feeling of hatred. The bad traits of the American Negroes resulted then not from an instinct common to the natives of Africa.

But from the institutions of the South and from the actual teaching of the slaves to be low and depraved that they might never develop sufficient strength to become a powerful element in society.”

Further important explanations of how our people seemingly overtly criticize Black leaders and each other include Dr. Alvin Poussaint who stated: “Most psychiatrists and psychologists would agree that the Negro American suffers from a marred self-image, of varying degree, which critically affects his entire psychological being.

It is also a well-documented fact that this negative self-concept leads to self-destructive attitudes and behavior that hinder the Negro’s struggle toward full equality in American life.

The Caucasian American socialized the Black man to internalize and believe all of the many vile things he said about him. They encouraged and rewarded behavior and attitudes in Negroes that substantiated their indicting stereotypes.

Black men were happy go-lucky, lazy, stupid, irresponsible, etc. Our mass media disseminated these images with vigor on radio, in movies, etc., and like unrelenting electric shocks conditioned the mind of the Negro to say, ‘Yes, I am inferior.’

Not only have Black men been taught that Blackness is evil and Negroes ‘no-good,’ they have, in addition, been continually brain-washed that only ‘White is right.’…Black men were taught to despise their kinky hair, broad nose, and thick lips.”—Black-on-Black Homicide: A Psychological-Political Perspective

Master W. Fard Muhammad: ‘Take plenty’

The root of Minister Farrakhan’s very powerful demonstration of unconditional love for Black people in America, and all of those who struggle for justice throughout the human family can be found within the noble demonstration of Allah in the Person and The Great Mahdi Master W. Fard Muhammad.

Master W. Fard Muhammad wrote in a September 7, 1933, letter to the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad the following: “I have hard labor to go through with misunderstanding on the part of my people in this part of the planet. However, I have treasured all my life love for the lost-found Nation of Islam … .”

This root of love for a people who at times misunderstand that love, is what has caused Minister Farrakhan to be able to shout publicly at what so many are afraid to whisper or even think privately. Theology professor Andre C. Willis has noted Minister Farrakhan’s long career of defending our people in the following words:

“There is simply no Black person in the world that has—over so many years—been as consistent, as unrestricted, and as forthright in defending the humanity of Black people throughout the world against its attackers.”

Love, specifically “perfect love” is according to the scripture the main ingredient for courage. For the Bible in 1 John 4:18 states “perfect love casts out fear.”

It is this love that is the “fuel for Farrakhan.” The Minister’s extraordinary love for us is something that has been given to him from Allah (God) and it has been nurtured by the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad.

Studying Minister Farrakhan is studying a man who has a divine anointing on his life to love a people who are at times difficult to love. The anointing on the Minister inspires his ability to defend us.

He boldly stated his position regarding defending Black people in his message “The Case For Separation,” delivered March 11, 1990.

“Defend your people. Yes, sir. Defend them. Yes, sir. With all the truth that you know, defend your people. Yes, sir. Even in their apparent wrong, I say defend your people. Never, never take the White man’s side. Never take the White man’s side against your people.

Never take his side, even if it appears that our brother is wrong, don’t take the side of the enemy. You see one of your brothers switching down the street, and some White man says, ‘Look at that.’ Don’t you say, ‘Yeah, look at that.’ You say, ‘Probably if he hadn’t met your fathers, he wouldn’t be that way.’

“If they say, ‘Look at that nigger snatching” pocketbooks,’ say, ‘Yeah, maybe if he had the right kind of education and a job opportunity, he wouldn’t have to snatch no pocketbook.’”

I believe that all who seek to serve as leaders within the Black community should study the example and way of the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan and adopt him as the pattern for our leadership. As the old saying goes, “You can’t lead the people, if you don’t love the people.”

And Minister Farrakhan proves that we must be willing to love our people, in spite of the lingering residue of self-hatred that the enemy socially engineered among us.

This country has a history of unjustly locking up Black men and women who dare critique, criticize, or point out the injustices perpetrated against our communities. While the U.S. government is often quick to point to other countries in its accusations of holding “political prisoners,” and others who have been incarcerated abroad, it fails to look in the mirror at its own injustices.

The Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad understood the wickedness of the U.S. government when it came to unjust imprisonment of Black people and spoke to this in “The Muslim Program,” which is published weekly on the inside back page of The Final Call.

Under “What The Muslims Want,” in Point No. 5 it states in part: “We want freedom for all Believers of Islam now held in federal prisons. We want freedom for all black men and women now under death sentence in innumerable prisons in the North as well as the South;”

and in Point No. 6, it states in part: “We believe that the Federal government should intercede to see that black men and women tried in white courts receive justice in accordance with the laws of the land—or allow us to build a new nation for ourselves, dedicated to justice, freedom and liberty.”

America has held many Black political prisoners who have languished behind bars for decades, have died while still incarcerated or after being released while sickly, in old age, and die soon after. Imam Jamil Al-Amin, Dr. Mutulu Shakur, Kamau Sadiki, and Sundiata Acoli are just a few of the names.

Also on this list is Mumia Abu Jamal. He and his supporters, including the Coalition to Free Mumia, have been fighting for his freedom for decades. This December will mark 45 years of his imprisonment. The former journalist, activist and Black Panther was convicted in 1981 of killing a Philadelphia police officer.

He and his supporters have always proclaimed his innocence. His trial was fraught with inconsistencies and observers argue he did not receive a fair trial. While behind bars, Mumia has suffered many health issues, but his resolve remains, despite these conditions.

He is serving time at Mahanoy Correctional Institution in Pennsylvania, on a life sentence with no chance of parole. His original death sentence was overturned in 2011 after federal courts ruled his original 1982 sentencing instructions were unconstitutional.

Amnesty International and other human rights organizations have appealed for his release or, at the very least, for a new trial. Recently, the UK-based, The Guardian reported that Mumia “is taking his claim that he has been subjected to arbitrary imprisonment for a crime that he did not commit to a new tribunal: the United Nations in Geneva.”

On July 28, according to theguardian.com, “… Abu-Jamal, 72, lodged a petition with the UN’s working group on arbitrary detention, a body within the Human Rights Council. It marks the latest attempt by the internationally renowned prisoner and prolific author of 15 books to seek relief, having exhausted all domestic channels through state and federal courts.”

The cruel and unusual punishment of Mumia’s incarceration speaks volumes about the U.S. “injustice system.” In the 20-page petition to the UN Working Group on Arbitrary Detention, it states:

“Mr. Abu-Jamal’s mandatory sentence of life without parole (LWOP), also known as Death by Incarceration (DBI), is inherently arbitrary because it is indefinite and contains no meaningful periodic review of necessity or reasonableness;

it is also unreasonable as applied to Mr. Abu-Jamal in light of his advanced age, declining health, and the lack of any risk he poses to the public, rendering his continued detention arbitrary under the Working Group’s Category I.

“Mr. Abu-Jamal has been continuously targeted for his political expression and associations, prior to his arrest, at trial, and over the course of his incarceration and appeals, raising questions as to violations of this Working Group’s Category II;

his judicial processes and the decades-long repression of his political speech have also been influenced by discrimination on the basis of race, raising questions as to violations of this Working Group’s Category V.”

The petition was submitted by the Abolitionist Law Center, American Civil Liberties Union, the California Coalition for Women Prisoners, Center for Constitutional Rights and the Release Aging People in Prison Campaign.

The fight to free Mumia is not over, and it is important that we continue to advocate for him and other brothers and sisters who continue sitting in prisons and jails in U.S. correctional facilities for crimes they did not commit.

The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan has also been one of the strongest voices speaking out on Mumia’s plight and fight.

“My dear brothers and sisters, right now as we speak:  Mumia Abu Jamal is absolutely a prisoner of conscience.  A ‘prisoner,’ that if they get their way, they will sentence my brother, and order his death.  But in a hearing, they wanted to give him a new trial, where his attorneys could produce evidence that might lead to Mumia Abu Jamal’s freedom! 

But those that oppose it are seeking, now, to overturn the lower court ruling, and sentence my brother to death.  Mumia Abu Jamal is a political prisoner,” Minister Farrakhan stated, during part 24 of this 2013 lecture series, “The Time and What Must Be Done.”

“What is a ‘political prisoner?’  According to the American Heritage Dictionary, a ‘political prisoner’ is ‘a person who has been imprisoned for holding or advocating dissenting political views,’” Minister Farrakhan continued.

So, while the U.S. points its fingers at other countries for the treatment or mistreatment of their political prisoners, it is hypocritical for those in governmental authority to ignore what is happening in America’s own backyard.

Any critique or condemnation of the abuse, ethnic cleansing or killing of Palestinians in Gaza, the West Bank or other areas was and is quickly met with the familiar and typical charges or accusations of being “anti-Semitic.”

Any mere mention of pulling back or withholding of any portion of the billions of U.S. taxpayer dollars sent each year to Israel for its mistreatment of Palestinians was and is met with criticism.

Even having the nerve to express any sort of sympathy toward the suffering of the Palestinian people and their right to exist in their homeland was and is immediately met with scorn or is dismissed.

Every year, whether under the administration of a Democrat or Republican U.S. president, and regardless of which party holds the majority in the U.S. House of Representatives or Senate, one thing was and is constant—America’s checkbook for Israel remains open.

Israel is also the leading buyer of U.S. weapons. Since 1948, the U.S. has provided over $300 billion in total assistance to Israel. Constantly providing aid and resources to Israel was the one issue that seemed to always garner bipartisan support and agreement on “both sides of the aisle.”

There were very few outspoken voices of dissent among U.S. politicians. Those who dared to speak out, like Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.), a Muslim and Black woman of Somali descent, were immediately attacked, many times by their own party.

However, a shift is seemingly happening.

The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan has warned America about how the rest of the world is viewing Israel and its actions in the Middle East. During an April 9, 2009, interview on WVON 1690 AM—The Talk of Chicago, with host Cliff Kelley, Minister Farrakhan provided divine insight then.

That is applicable today amid the renewed genocide by Israel of the Palestinians that has been ongoing since October 7, 2023. More than 73,000 people, mostly women and children, have been killed since then.

“America and Israel are supposedly ‘friends,’ but America has refused to say something to her friend. Israel, right now, is seen in the world as a ‘pariah state’; and America has lost influence in the world simply because she has looked the other way when the Israeli Defense Force has committed massacres against the Palestinian people. What happened in Lebanon and Gaza has damaged the image of Israel throughout the world,” the Minister said.

“America has leverage with Israel that she is afraid to use. And this goes to the strength of AIPAC (American Israel Public Affairs Committee), which is comprised of powerful men and women of influence. … Why don’t the members of Congress speak when they know that the things that Israel is doing will hurt them, and hurt America as well?

It is because they are afraid that if they go against what is seemed to be beneficial to Israel, they will lose their position? That means that these people are no longer the representatives of the American people. They are the representatives of the money interests that they fear; that control them,” Minister Farrakhan pointed out.

A recent vote in Congress could signal a change or shift on the horizon. More than half of the Democratic Caucus voted recently in Congress on an amendment introduced by GOP Rep. Thomas Massie of Kentucky that would have cut nearly $3.3 billion in funds for Israel currently allocated in the 2027 defense funding package.

Although the amendment was defeated in a vote of 314-104, it could be a sign that public sentiment toward Israel and its crimes against humanity is getting the attention of politicians who have been elected to represent and serve the will of their constituents. In the vote, 103 Democrats voted to cut aid.

“While the amendment did not pass, it put lawmakers on record on the issue after Israel joined the Trump administration in beginning a war with Iran and as its unpopular war in Gaza approaches the three-year mark in October.

At least two dozen people were killed in Israeli airstrikes in Gaza in the last two days, The Associated Press reported, despite a ceasefire,” according to NBCNews.com after the July 15 vote.

The outlet also noted that according to a Gallup tracking poll from earlier this year, “U.S. public opinion on the long-standing Middle East conflict is shifting.” The poll indicated that “Americans said for the first time that they were more sympathetic to Palestinians (41%) than Israelis (36%).”

While some are optimistic about the number of Congresspersons who voted to stop aid to Israel, the fact is, it still passed, and each passing day, Palestinians are continuing to be slaughtered and the poor in America, whose social safety net programs have been cut, are continuing to see their tax dollars flow out of the country to the Occupier State.

Whether members of Congress will continue pushing to vote to cut the purse strings to Israel remains to be seen. And others are not so sure those voting to cut the aid is because they have true sympathy for the suffering Palestinians and are raising questions about what could be their ultimate motives.

Dr. Stacey Patton, a college professor and author pointed out that after what she called, “decades of treating Israel like and untouchable sacred cow,” she hoped that despite the recent vote, that people “don’t think that these Dems should be getting courage medals.” She said that this is because tens of thousands of Palestinians have been killed.

The outspoken award-winning journalist posted on her Facebook page, “Israel is continuing the killing. Families have been starved, displaced, mutilated, and erased while Democrats kept on voting for the weapons, repeating the talking points, and hiding behind ‘Israel has a right to defend itself.’”

She continued, “They did not lead or act before the horror became politically inconvenient. They waited until the bodies piled so high that supporting the slaughter started costing them votes.”

She attributed the vote by some to the unexpected rise of New York’s mayor, who is young, Muslim and outspoken on Israel and Palestine.

“I also think they’re stunned by Zohran Mamdani. They watched Mamdani openly confront Israel, reject AIPAC’s politics, call the slaughter in Gaza what it is, and still win. Then they watched candidates he backed defeat establishment Democrats tied to the old pro-Israel consensus,” Dr. Patton continued.

“Mamdani is helping set a new trajectory inside the Democratic Party, and Palestine is central to it. These Democrats can see that the electorate, especially younger voters, is moving in a different direction. 

They understand that unconditional support for Israel may now cost them their seats. So this ain’t some moral awakening. What they’re doing is political self-preservation.”

While it may be too early to tell if this shift continues to the point of the U.S. cutting or stopping aid to Israel to continue is reign of terror and genocide, it is clear that many in America and the world are paying attention.

The ruling means that the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) could end TPS for approximately 350,000 Haitian immigrants, many of whom have been in the U.S. for decades and have made a living and raised families here. Based on that, the number of people who could be impacted could be higher.

According to the American Immigration Council, “Temporary Protected Status (TPS) is a temporary immigration status provided to nationals of certain countries experiencing problems that make it difficult or unsafe for their nationals to be deported there.

TPS has been a lifeline to hundreds of thousands of individuals already in the United States when problems in a home country make their departure or deportation untenable.”  

The targeting of Haitians is deliberate. In the run-up to the 2024 U.S. Presidential Election, then-candidates Donald Trump and JD Vance spread vicious rumors and lies, which were debunked, about Haitian immigrants in Springfield, Ohio.

Unfortunately, “making trouble” and “spreading lies” have been, and remain, the methods our open enemy has used in its strategy and plan to keep us divided from one another.

Many of our Haitian brothers and sisters have left or been forced to leave their homeland, for no fault of their own. The current conditions in Haiti stem from decades of U.S. and Western misdeeds, interference, and downright evil actions.

We cannot allow apathy about what is happening in our communities to make us turn a blind eye to Black people who may come from different countries. Apathy means a state of indifference characterized by a lack of emotion, motivation, or concern. Often, we are so consumed with our own day-to-day lives—which is important—but we cannot fall into indifference where we respond, “that’s them, not me.”

According to reporting by Capital B News in a June 2025 article titled, “Black Undocumented Migrants Face Far Higher Deportation Rates,” “One of the most underreported aspects of life for Black undocumented migrants can be summed up in one statistic:

They’re deported at a rate four times more often than their numbers would suggest, according to an analysis of federal data by the Black Alliance for Just Immigration.”

Today, it is Haitians being targeted for deportation; tomorrow, it could be Blacks, regardless of our country of birth. For those who argue that they were born in the U.S. and are therefore rightful and legal citizens of the U.S., that does not mean there will be no impact.

How is the government going to determine “who is Haitian?” Haitians are Black. They just happen to speak Haitian Creole and/or French, as well as English, the languages of their and our slave masters and colonizers.

America’s “immigration” issue is a hot-button topic that often results in finger-pointing and accusations, instigated by those who have shown themselves to be enemies to all Black people, whether we are from Haiti, the Dominican Republic, Ghana, Jamaica, or born and raised on the South Side of Chicago.

In the sight of Almighty God Allah, who appeared in the Person of Master Fard Muhammad, The Great Mahdi, we are one people. In the Supreme Wisdom Lessons of the Nation of Islam, the question is asked:

“Who is the Original Man?” The answer: “The Original man is the Asiatic Black man; the Maker; the Owner; the Cream of the planet Earth—God of the Universe.”

While it is easy to look at our various languages, cultures and countries of birth as differences to further divide us, it is, in fact, one of our biggest strengths.

The front cover of the iconic Muhammad Speaks newspaper at times featured an illustration of a Black man from America and a Black man from Africa, their arms outstretched toward each other over the Earth. The words: Asia, Africa and America were also written on the illustration.

What happens to our people, wherever we are, is important, and we must recognize that we are one people. Just because one group of Black people is being targeted does not mean the rest of us are somehow exempt from the plans of the enemy.

The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan has traveled in and out of America, speaking to Black people all over the world about our common struggles and who we are to one another.

“The Honorable Elijah Muhammad single-handedly turned us from calling ourselves Negroes to accepting ourselves. No matter what shade of color we were, the Honorable Elijah Muhammad asked us to refer to ourselves as the Black man, the Original People of the Earth.

And when we saw ourselves as Black people, then every person of color on the Earth, we identified with them,” said Minister Farrakhan in a May 7, 2006, interview on “The Open Line Show” on 98.7 KISS FM in New York, N.Y., hosted by the late James Mtume. The article was published in The Final Call under the title, “Reconnecting the international struggles of Black people.”

Minister Farrakhan, a Black man, has Caribbean roots. His mother was from St. Kitts, his grandmother from Nevis, his father from Jamaica, and his stepfather was from Barbados. 

“So, in the ’60s, nothing could happen on the African continent that Black people in America were not concerned with. Nothing could happen in the Caribbean, Brazil, Central America or in the Islands of the Pacific where Black people were concerned that we did not feel, because a nervous system was being created for Black people that we felt the pain of one another wherever we were on the Earth,” Minister Farrakhan said.

As the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad reminds us in “Message to the Blackman in America,” on page 33, “Love yourself and your kind. Let us refrain from doing evil to each other, and let us love each other as brothers, as we are the same flesh and blood.”

We thank Allah (God) for the wisdom given to us from and by the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad that teaches us to see the Black man and woman, regardless of where we are, as one people. We must not allow our differences to lead to further disunity. Allah (God) is not the author of confusion.

(Below are excerpts from a major speech delivered by abolitionist Frederick Douglass, who spoke July 5, 1852 in Rochester, New York to commemorate the signing of the Declaration of Independence.)

Fellow-citizens, pardon me, allow me to ask, why am I called upon to speak here today? What have I, or those I represent, to do with your national independence?

Are the great principles of political freedom and of natural justice, embodied in that Declaration of Independence, extended to us? and am I, therefore, called upon to bring our humble offering to the national altar, and to confess the benefits and express devout gratitude for the blessings resulting from your independence to us?

Would to God, both for your sakes and ours, that an affirmative answer could be truthfully returned to these questions! Then would my task be light, and my burden easy and delightful. For who is there so cold, that a nation’s sympathy could not warm him? Who so obdurate and dead to the claims of gratitude, that would not thankfully acknowledge such priceless benefits?

Who so stolid and selfish, that would not give his voice to swell the hallelujahs of a nation’s jubilee, when the chains of servitude had been torn from his limbs? I am not that man. In a case like that, the dumb might eloquently speak, and the “lame man leap as an hart.”

But, such is not the state of the case. I say it with a sad sense of the disparity between us. I am not included within the pale of this glorious anniversary! Your high independence only reveals the immeasurable distance between us.

The blessings in which you, this day, rejoice, are not enjoyed in common.—The rich inheritance of justice, liberty, prosperity and independence, bequeathed by your fathers, is shared by you, not by me.

The sunlight that brought life and healing to you, has brought stripes and death to me. This Fourth [of] July is yours, not mine. You may rejoice, I must mourn.

To drag a man in fetters into the grand illuminated temple of liberty, and call upon him to join you in joyous anthems, were inhuman mockery and sacrilegious irony. Do you mean, citizens, to mock me, by asking me to speak today?

If so, there is a parallel to your conduct. And let me warn you that it is dangerous to copy the example of a nation whose crimes, lowering up to heaven, were thrown down by the breath of the Almighty, burying that nation in irrecoverable ruin! I can to-day take up the plaintive lament of a peeled and woe-smitten people!

“By the rivers of Babylon, there we sat down. Yea! we wept when we remembered Zion. We hanged our harps upon the willows in the midst thereof. For there, they that carried us away captive, required of us a song; and they who wasted us required of us mirth, saying, Sing us one of the songs of Zion.

How can we sing the Lord’s song in a strange land? If I forget thee, O Jerusalem, let my right hand forget her cunning. If I do not remember thee, let my tongue cleave to the roof of my mouth.”

Fellow-citizens; above your national, tumultuous joy, I hear the mournful wail of millions! whose chains, heavy and grievous yesterday, are, today, rendered more intolerable by the jubilee shouts that reach them.

If I do forget, if I do not faithfully remember those bleeding children of sorrow this day, “may my right hand forget her cunning, and may my tongue cleave to the roof of my mouth!”

To forget them, to pass lightly over their wrongs, and to chime in with the popular theme, would be treason most scandalous and shocking, and would make me a reproach before God and the world. My subject, then fellow-citizens, is AMERICAN SLAVERY.

I shall see, this day, and its popular characteristics, from the slave’s point of view. Standing, there, identified with the American bondman, making his wrongs mine, I do not hesitate to declare, with all my soul, that the character and conduct of this nation never looked blacker to me than on this 4th of July!

Whether we turn to the declarations of the past, or to the professions of the present, the conduct of the nation seems equally hideous and revolting. America is false to the past, false to the present, and solemnly binds herself to be false to the future.

Standing with God and the crushed and bleeding slave on this occasion, I will, in the name of humanity which is outraged, in the name of liberty which is fettered, in the name of the Constitution and the Bible.

Which are disregarded and trampled upon, dare to call in question and to denounce, with all the emphasis I can command, everything that serves to perpetuate slavery—the great sin and shame of America! …

Would you have me argue that man is entitled to liberty? that he is the rightful owner of his own body? You have already declared it. Must I argue the wrongfulness of slavery? Is that a question for Republicans?

Is it to be settled by the rules of logic and argumentation, as a matter beset with great difficulty, involving a doubtful application of the principle of justice, hard to be understood?

How should I look today, in the presence of Americans, dividing, and subdividing a discourse, to show that men have a natural right to freedom? speaking of it relatively, and positively, negatively, and affirmatively.

To do so, would be to make myself ridiculous, and to offer an insult to your understanding.—There is not a man beneath the canopy of heaven, that does not know that slavery is wrong for him. …

At a time like this, scorching irony, not convincing argument, is needed. O! had I the ability, and could I reach the nation’s ear, I would, today, pour out a fiery stream of biting ridicule, blasting reproach, withering sarcasm, and stern rebuke.

For it is not light that is needed, but fire; it is not the gentle shower, but thunder. We need the storm, the whirlwind, and the earthquake. The feeling of the nation must be quickened;

The conscience of the nation must be roused; the propriety of the nation must be startled; the hypocrisy of the nation must be exposed; and its crimes against God and man must be proclaimed and denounced.

What, to the American slave, is your 4th of July? I answer: a day that reveals to him, more than all other days in the year, the gross injustice and cruelty to which he is the constant victim.

To him, your celebration is a sham; your boasted liberty, an unholy license; your national greatness, swelling vanity; your sounds of rejoicing are empty and heartless; your denunciations of tyrants, brass fronted impudence;

Your shouts of liberty and equality, hollow mockery; your prayers and hymns, your sermons and thanksgivings, with all your religious parade, and solemnity, are, to him, mere bombast, fraud, deception, impiety, and hypocrisy—a thin veil to cover up crimes which would disgrace a nation of savages.

There is not a nation on the earth guilty of practices, more shocking and bloody, than are the people of these United States, at this very hour.

What, to the American slave, is your 4th of July? I answer: a day that reveals to him, more than all other days in the year, the gross injustice and cruelty to which he is the constant victim.

For Black children in America, this is a painful but daily reality. As noted by the Center For Policing Equity (CPE), “In this country, Black children do not get the luxury of having their innocence presumed and protected by the majority-White society in which they live.” The center references a 2014 study it conducted by co-founder and CEO Phillip Atiba Goff, called “The Essence of Innocence.”  

Their study “found that the period of time during which White youth are not expected to be fully responsible for their actions can extend well into their late 20s. By contrast, Black children are often treated as adults by age 13, if not well before, regularly perceived as older, less innocent, and more threatening than their White same-age peers.”

There have been several similar studies conducted over the years that have reached the same or very similar conclusion. As a result of this “adultification” of our Black youth, they are quite often not given the benefit of the doubt nor do they receive sympathy or empathy in the court of public opinion or in America’s so-called justice system.  

In the CPE study it also revealed that Black boys as young as 10 may not be viewed in the same light of childhood innocence as their White peers, but are instead more likely to be mistaken as older, be perceived as guilty and face police violence if accused of a crime.

“Children in most societies are considered to be in a distinct group with characteristics such as innocence and the need for protection. Our research found that Black boys can be seen as responsible for their actions at an age when White boys still benefit from the assumption that children are essentially innocent,” noted Mr. Goff.

“One alarmingly frequent outcome is that, in any interaction they may have with the country’s criminal legal systems, Black children are routinely held to adult standards, the study also reported.

History is full of examples that confirm what these various studies have concluded. And unfortunately for young, Black men and boys in America, this “adultification” has led to deadly results.

George Junius Stinney Jr. was wrongfully executed in 1944 in Columbia, South Carolina, at the age of 14 after being convicted, during an unfair trial, for the murders of two White girls. According to records, George was only 5 feet 1 inch tall and weighed 90–95 pounds.

But it did not matter that this young boy was not guilty. He received no due process and no benefit of the doubt. Young George was innocent, and decades later, his conviction was overturned.

Emmett Till, also innocent and also only 14. But the fact that he was a boy did not stop the racist, White thugs from kidnapping, torturing and killing him in Mississippi in 1955. There was no sympathy. He was not viewed as an innocent youngster.

Mike Brown Jr., just 18 years old when he was confronted, shot and killed by a police officer in Ferguson, Missouri in 2014. Mike Jr. was 6 feet 4 inches tall and weighed approximately 290 pounds, but he was still just a teen.

The officer who confronted and ultimately killed him, tried to use the excuse that because of the young, Black man’s size that he was intimidated and feared for his life. The officer himself was 6 feet 4 inches tall and weighed about 210 pounds.

Tamir Rice was only 12 years old and playing in a park with a toy airsoft “gun” in 2014, when someone called the police saying a “male, probably a juvenile,” had a gun. Police arrived and shot and killed him on site with no hesitation.

How Black youth are treated is not limited to engagements with law enforcement. Fast forward to today. Recently, a South Carolina jury acquitted convenience store owner Chikei Rick Chow of murder in the May 2023 fatal shooting of 14-year-old Cyrus Carmack-Belton.

Chow shot the unarmed Black teenager in the back after chasing him over a suspected water bottle theft after claiming he acted in self-defense. There was reportedly no evidence that Cyrus had taken anything from the store. But, the fact that this young brother, not even old enough to drive, did not matter to someone who saw him not as a child, but as a threat that had to be neutralized.

National Representative of the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad, the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan, has consistently warned us that what we see happening in the targeting of our Black youth will continue to happen. He has explained that Black youth have been marked for death by the U.S. government and those who are enemies to their rise.

However, Minister Farrakhan and the Two who back him, have guided him with the solution, if we take heed and obey his guidance.

“The Honorable Elijah Muhammad taught us that one of the things that must be done, in this time, is that we must be separated from our former slave masters and their children—because time will prove that they will become more and more disagreeable to live with in peace,”

Minister Farrakhan said in part 39 in his 2013, 58-week lecture series, “The Time and What Must Be Done,” titled, “Can Black and White Live Together in Peace.”

“Unfortunately, race relations will continue to get worse because the government just cannot provide enough food, clothing, shelter and jobs, or justice, for us.  And as we sit around, waiting for somebody else to do this for us—and demanding what we feel are our basic rights as so-called citizens—we are making our former slave masters and their children more angry with us; and thus.

They are becoming more disagreeable to live with in peace. That’s why the Honorable Elijah Muhammad said, ‘We must be separated if we don’t want to continue to suffer great loss,’” Minister Farrakhan stated.

As days go by, what the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad and the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan have revealed continues to come to pass. We cannot continue to think that our over 400-year enemy is going to do right by us or our children.

Our enemy does not view our children as having a right to exist, thrive and survive. White children can be children, Black children cannot. And as long as we continue to think that integration is the answer, the more our children will suffer.

In the words of Minister Farrakhan, “Separation will prove to be the only answer to the problem between the Black man and woman and the White people of America.”

Since our sojourn in America there have been efforts to dismantle those goals. While establishing relationships with other communities regardless of political, socio-economic, ethnic and religious affiliations is also worthwhile, those relationships must be established on truth, transparency and historical accuracy.

Members of the Jewish community met recently in Miami with several well-known Black leaders and organizers for the National Convening on the Black-Jewish Alliance.

The event was called, according to organizers “the first national gathering of its kind in more than 25 years, aimed at renewing one of the most consequential partnerships in American history.” The meeting, which reportedly drew “more than 100 leaders,” was held May 26-30.

According to reporting by The San Diego Voice & Viewpoint, “Hosted by the Exodus Leadership Forum and Redstone Family Foundation at EAST Hotel Miami, the convening brought together clergy, organizers, artists, philanthropists, educators, civic leaders and cultural figures.

The goals were to strengthen relationships; confront rising antisemitism and racism; and help shape a shared national strategy for Black-Jewish partnership in the years ahead.”

The gathering attracted Blacks, Jews and those who are members of both communities. The Exodus Leadership Forum is a non-profit established by former Obama administration advisor for Green Jobs and current political commentator Van Jones.

The reported goal of the forum is “to revitalize and strengthen the historic partnership between the Black and Jewish communities.” The Redstone Family Foundation is described as “a philanthropic organization”

And is headed by media executive Shari Redstone. Rev. Dr. Benjamin Chavis, longtime civil rights activist and president and CEO of the National Newspaper Publishers Association (the Black Press), also addressed the gathering. There are reportedly plans to make it an annual gathering.

The weekend included several goals and included “facilitated conversations around difficult ‘wedge issues,’” noted sdvoice.info. Coming out of the “historic gathering,” a draft of a National Strategy for Black and Jewish Partnership was crafted and included the following:

• Promoting Awareness and Historical Understanding
• Deepening Relationships and Building Trust
• Shaping a Public Narrative around Black-Jewish Allyship
• Coordinating Efforts Across the Field
• Expanding Partnerships for Collective Advocacy and Action

The above goals could be considered practical. However, before the rest of the points listed can be delved into, the first point, “Promoting Awareness and Historical Understanding,” must be addressed. And, there can be no awareness or understanding that is not based on truth and actual facts.

For decades, the National Representative of the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad, the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan, has spoken the unadulterated truth about the historic and current relationship between Blacks and Jews.

He has been unfairly lied on, maligned and targeted by members of the Jewish community and many scared-to-death Black people who are unwilling or unable to face the real truth about the history of this “relationship.”

Before any sort of “alliance” can be considered, what the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan has presented and revealed must be part of the dialogue. Otherwise, no meaningful so-called alliance can be considered. And, if there is an alliance, what will it be based on?

Minister Farrakhan has called for a dialogue with members of the Jewish community, but he has been rebuffed due to his unwillingness to speak other than the truth. In his efforts to foster communication and understanding between the two communities, the Nation of Islam Research Department has produced several books, including:

“The Secret Relationship Between Blacks and Jews: The Jewish Role in the Enslavement of the African,” “The Secret Relationship Between Blacks and Jews: How Jews Gained Control of the Black American Economy,” “The Secret Relationship Between Blacks and Jews:

The Leo Frank Case, The Lynching of a Guilty Man,” and “Jews Selling Blacks.” There is also a comprehensive compilation of messages by the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan, titled, “Revealing the Truth & Exposing the Synagogue of Satan.”

Perhaps the dialogue around “difficult wedge” issues about “one of the most consequential partnerships in American history” can and should start with the reading and studying of these materials. Doing so would allow both groups to truly start a sincere dialogue that could lead toward an “alliance.”

Over the years, Minister Farrakhan has written letters to prominent Jewish groups and Black leaders and organizations to foster sincere and truthful dialogue based on understanding. He has sent the books from the N.O.I. Research Group to Black and Jewish leaders, accompanied by letters of divine guidance.

In an open letter to Jewish groups he wrote in 2010, Minister Farrakhan stated: “I have pleaded with you over the years for a sensible, intelligent dialogue.

You have rejected me, and some Rabbis have given me terms for friendship that any self-respecting person could never accept. So with this truth in our hands and yours, and soon in the hands of tens of thousands, I again ask you for a dialogue.”

The same year, Minister Farrakhan also emailed Black leadership, stating in part, “These books that the Historical Research Department of the Nation of Islam has published, “The Secret Relationship Between Blacks and Jews: How Jews Gained Control of the Black American Economy Volume 2”

And “Jews Selling Blacks” are being shared with our people to show us how we were completely undone and how others have benefited from what has happened and continues to happen to us. We cannot deal effectively with our so-called friends as men and women without this vital knowledge.”

He continued, “Whenever the Light of Truth has been shone on them, they reach for you to defend them against the Truth that uncovers the horror that has been done to us. They have always been successful pitting us against each other thus keeping them from facing the Truth of their real relationship with us.

As they call upon you to denounce me as an anti-Semite and, because of the favor you believe you owe them for what they have done to help make life comfortable for you; I am asking you to stand down. I am asking you to read this research and then discuss it with your Jewish friends.

Would you condemn me as an anti-Semite for exposing the research that shows them as being anti-Black? I am asking you to stand down and let them come out to me to defend their record and history of their relationship with us that we compiled from that which was written by their own scholars, historians, and Rabbis.”

For sincere alliances to be created, truth must be present. So, for the National Convening on the Black-Jewish Alliance, seek the guidance and wisdom that the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan has already shared, offered and made available.

Because of these truths, he has been falsely called and labeled a hater, anti-Semitic, and an enemy of the American people. But speaking truth and warning of approaching danger, even if it hurts, are the characteristics of a true friend.

American presidents are fond of the word “patriot.” Past presidents have called on Americans to be “patriotic” citizens and respond to their drumbeats for war and invasion of other nations under the false pretenses of America under attack or threats of terrorism.

They call on “patriots” to perform their duties even when the presidents themselves and Congress knowingly lie to justify invading or bombing other nations to overthrow regimes or gain access to mineral wealth.

The lives of many American soldiers have been lost based on these lies. Lies pulled America into the Vietnam War. Lies pulled American soldiers into invading Iraq.

Tens of thousands of innocent civilian lives have been lost on the receiving end of U.S. bombs and American weaponry supplied to Israel in their genocidal attempt to exterminate the people of Palestine, Lebanon and other Muslim nations.

Today, America is involved in a war against Iran, a war that was not declared by the U.S. Congress. The war does, however, complete a larger strategy launched by so-called neoconservatives in the late 1990s and significantly impacted by the administration of President George W. Bush.

That strategy, which accelerated after the 9/11 attacks on America, was to destabilize the Middle East by overthrowing the governments of seven Muslim nations—Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Libya, Somalia, Sudan and Iran. 

At this writing, every one of those nations have been destabilized—except Iran.

The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan has warned every U.S. president, from Ronald Reagan to Donald J. Trump, of the dangers of pulling the lynchpin into Armageddon, the war to end all wars spoken of in scripture.

He has repeated the forecast spoken by the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad, the Eternal Leader of the Nation of Islam, that once this war starts there would be blood “and plenty of it.” 

Once Armageddon is in its full fury, the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad told the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan that America would send their soldiers over in the tens of thousands, but they would come back in the fives and tens.

“I have been reading that the plans are already made for America to attack the Islamic Republic of Iran,” Minister Farrakhan said in an April 8, 2007, message at Mosque Maryam, referencing the 2003 bombing of Iraq to remove leader Saddam Hussein. “The United States can’t win a ground war in Iraq, and it can’t win a ground war in Iran,” he continued.

The only way for America to defeat Iran is to use nuclear force under the pretense that America is destroying Iran’s nuclear capabilities, while all the time killing civilians, the Minister forecasted.

Minister Farrakhan warned President Trump in his first term (2016-2020) that his character and thinking would be to the detriment of his administration, a warning manifested more fully in his second administration.

Mr. Trump’s second administration has drawn the distrust of America’s closest ally, Canada, by suggesting that the U.S. could annex its northern neighbor.

He has caused distrust among allied European nations by unilaterally applying exorbitant tariffs on their exports, called countries nasty names, ridiculed friendly leaders and threatened to withdraw from NATO.

An April Alliance of Democracies Foundation survey confirmed Minister Farrakhan’s warning, showing that “[G]lobal perceptions of the U.S. have deteriorated for a second consecutive year and are now worse than views of Russia.”

The Denmark-based foundation said the U.S. was also most frequently named in response to which country posed the greatest threat to ​the world, after Russia and Israel, Reuters reported.

Minister Farrakhan has warned that Mr. Trump’s plan for American dominance through fear is what is pushing smaller nations to want weapons of mass destruction. Mr. Trump invaded Venezuela and kidnapped its president, Nicolas Maduro and his wife, while also taking control of that nation’s oil exports and revenues.

Even as he pursues war in Iran, Mr. Trump has announced Cuba as his next target—announcing indictments on former Cuban President Raul Castro, increased the military presence in the Gulf, placed economic sanctions and an oil embargo that have caused near 24-hour power outages and Cuban suffering.

In the book “Closing The Gap” by Brother Jabril Muhammad, Minister Farrakhan said in answer to a question, that obtaining a nuclear weapon is a deterrent to American aggression.

“To make Syria afraid; to make Iran afraid; to make North Korea afraid; to make any little, small nation afraid is to say to them as the scripture says, ‘Wake up the mighty men of war.  And let them turn their plow shares and their pruning hooks into spears and swords’ because this is a time of global war.

“Their efforts for peace may be noble, but they will not come to pass until war has decimated the warmongers. And many, many, many, many millions of human lives will be lost,” he said.

To Muslim leaders in the Middle East, Minister Farrakhan warned in a Nov. 8, 2018, news conference in Tehran, Iran, that President Trump is  “making toxic the divisions between Sunni and Shia” Muslims and “openly saying they should reject their brother Iran.” He said new sanctions on Iran is the predicate for a new war.

“I am begging our president and the government that support him to be very, very careful because if  the trigger of war in the Middle East is pulled by you using your surrogates at the insistence of Israel, then the war will trigger another kind of war that would bring China, Russia, all of the nations into a war,” Minister Farrakhan said.

“It bothers me to say this to you, Mr. President, but the war will end America as we know it.  I am a warner to you.  I am a friend to America, not an enemy.  But if you do not heed the warning and correct your path, death will come.” —James G. Muhammad, Contributing Editor
