(FinalCall.com) – After “going viral” and gaining over 400,000 views, nearly 300,000 in one day, the original video excerpt of the March 10 WVON interview featuring the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan was removed by the popular Google-owned YouTube due to “inappropriate content.”

After many concerns and complaints by the public were registered with YouTube, the Nation of Islam Web Services team was notified that the original video had been restored. According to the NOI Web Services Team, although the interruption was brief, YouTube’s action effectively censored the video clip’s rapid pace of views, which at the time was listed as the second trending clip on the popular web video site’s front page.

The nearly 9 ½ minute video uncovers the hypocrisy in U.S. actions toward Libya and how “noble motives” of humanitarian activity are being used to cover American aims to destroy Libyan leader Muammar Gadhafi and advises President Obama to be careful in the handling of the Libyan situation. Min. Farrakhan warned that what America has seen, the unrest and protests in Libya, are headed for the United States.

The Minister also warned the public to understand that once the political power structure decides to remove or destroy someone, the media is used to make the target a “bogeyman.” Millions of dollars have been spent to foment regime change in Iran because America does not like the government, he said.

How much money was spent to remove Col. Gadhafi because imperialist powers America, Britain and France do not like his leadership? asked Min. Farrakhan. The CIA sends in agents to “stimulate” legitimate dissatisfaction, dissatisfaction that is present in every nation, he said.

Visit youtube.com and search “Farrakhan warns, advises Obama on Libya” to view this insightful excerpt and see what some people didn’t want in the public. Visit finalcall.com for more coverage of the Minister’s warning on Libya and visit store.finalcall.com to obtain a full copy of the 2 hour interview conducted by WVON AM radio host Cliff Kelley with Min. Farrakhan.

(FinalCall.com) – Since the media group, Wikileaks began posting thousands of leaked classified U.S. embassy documents on November 28, the organization, its founder, Julian Assange and it’s network of websites have become the subject of international uproar consisting of intense praise and criticism.

U.S. Secretary Hilary Clinton has been very vocal regarding the American government’s displeasure regarding the leaked documents which have caused considerable embarrassment for the Obama administrations saying, “It puts people’s lives in danger and undermines our efforts to work with other countries to solve shared problems.”

Countering criticism of Wikileaks in an Op-ed appearing on the Truth-out.org website, Bill Quigley, legal director at the Center for Constitutional Rights and a law professor at Loyola University in New Orleans said those who direct Wikilieaks and were responsible for making information available to the public should not be condemned, but praised.

On Tuesday, December 7, Mr. Assange turned himself over to British authorities for questioning and promptly jailed without bail after apearing before a judge on an extradition warrant.

Prior to his arrest, Mr. Assange wrote an editorial, “Shooting The Messenger” which was published in the The Australian, defending Wikileaks and highlighted what he considered some of the key facts in his organization’s recent “Cablegate” disclosure of documents.

While the original Wikileaks Cablegate site had been under constant cyber attack and its .Com and .Org addresses being taken down, it’s Wikileaks Facebook page quickly gained over 1,000,000 fans.

Mobilizing it’s considerable worlwide support base, Wikileaks put out a request to help it stay online and within hours, thousands of Internet activists had developed over 1000 mirror web sites and thousands more tweets.

By Ernest J. Muhammad

There has never been a better time than now to get some of the best deals on computers and other electronic equipment. Technology usually starts out at a high price and as time goes by, it usually decreases in price. But what I have seen lately is many products hitting the market at pretty reasonable prices from the start. No question about it: This is a buyers market for sure!

As shopping on the Internet gets safer, more people are “taking the plunge” to use their hard-earned money to make a purchase over the Internet. The Net is where a consumer can find tremendous savings, if they have knowledge of some of the money-saving sites out there. One of the first things a person should do is compare the prices of different online stores.

Sites such as pricegrabber.com, techbargains.com, nextag.com and streetprices.com will help you decide which stores with the same item have the lowest price. The price difference can sometimes be $500 to $1,000, depending on the item.

Let’s do some comparison shopping online to see how it works. We can pretend that you are in need of a laptop; something that I believe everyone should try to own because a laptop computer makes you more efficient with your work, more versatile and it has the potential of connecting you to the entire world wherever you are.

Go to www.mysimon.com, which is another good price comparison site, and do a search for laptops or notebooks. Make sure that you choose “Computers and Electronics” as a category. You will see the following: See all results matching “laptops.” Click on this link.

Let’s say you’re looking for an HP nx6110 laptop. Locate the item and then click on “compare prices.” This will give you a price comparison for about 15 stores with a price difference from $549 to $799. That’s a saving of $250!! Make sure that you compare each store because one store may offer free shipping or a free extended warranty. The same thing can be also done with cameras, cell phones, movies, clothing and even cars. When placing an order, always check to see if the order page has a web address that starts with “https.”

For example, if I go to www.bestbuy.com and find an item to purchase, the next thing I would do is click on the “check out” button, which will bring me to a page that asks for my personal information. The top of my web browser showing the web address will look something like this: https://www-ssl.bestbuy.com/

The “s” in https stands for secure. I don’t want you to think that all sites that have this is a reputable company, but this is the first thing to look for when you are asked to give out your personal information over the Internet.

Keep in mind that many existing retail stores also have deep discounts on many computer items at certain times of the year, but if you’re trying to beat the hustle-and-bustle of shopping at a store, just sit in your easy chair and buy from the comfort of home.

ACCRA, Ghana (PANA) – The Ghanaian Ministry of Communications (MOC) and Telecommunications Consultants India Limited (TCIL) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to set the tone for the commencement of a Pan-African e-network project in Ghana.

The project, estimated to cost billions of dollars, was a promise made by the Indian President, Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam, at an African Union (AU) conference in Johannesburg in September 2004, to provide instant connectivity between African leaders (VVIP network) together with tele-medicine and tele-education. Following Pres. Abdul Kalam’s promise, an MOU was signed between the Indian Government and the AU on October 27, 2005, and TCIL selected to implement the project.

Communications Minister Albert Kan-Dapaah, who signed on behalf of the government on Jan. 18, said the e-network project would cover the 53 member States of the AU by satellite and fiber optic network to promote tele-medicine, tele-education and VVIP connectivity. He noted that the project would put the AU countries on the path to achieving the Millennium Development Goals by contributing significantly to socio-economic development and productivity in the beneficiary countries. The e-education and e-medicine aspects of the project would provide the opportunity to extend essential ICT infrastructure to certain rural communities and under-served areas, and bring excellent applications in health and education to their doorstep.

“We believe that the successful implementation of the project will go a long way to minimize the disparities in development between our urban and rural communities and hopefully, contribute to the early realization of our MDGs,” he said.

Kan-Dapaah said the Ministry was working in close collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Ministry of Health to identify appropriate interlocutors for the tele-education and tele-medicine, respectively, as designated hubs to interact with their Indian counterparts, as the main service location would be in India. Experts from the three ministries are in link with their counterparts in India to share knowledge and experience on developing content for efficient use of the facility, the commencement of which was slated for January 2007.

Ganash Pandey, TCIL regional director for West Africa, said his company was hopeful that the project would put Africa on the path to accelerated development. TCIL will design and supply the equipment, and undertake installation, training, testing as well as commissioning and maintenance of a Very Small Aperture Terminal (VSAT) based network. It would also operate the Project for a five-year period before handing over to an African team. The network shall offer one tele-education and tele-medicine terminal each and a VVIP communication node for Heads of State in each of the beneficiary countries.

(FinalCall.com) – Have you ever lost an important file on your PC? It’s a very painful experience emotionally, especially if you just spent the last three or four hours to create the file.

Something like this only has to happen once before you start thinking about an alternative to storing files on the local hard drive of your computer. Maybe it’s high time to think about buying an external hard drive to store all of those important files.

External hard drives come in a variety of sizes, shapes and prices. Some drives can hold an astounding 300 gigabytes of information, which is more than the average person will need, but it’s always good to know that the extra space is there in case you need it.

External drives are also good for backing up your entire hard drive or, if you have a lot of CDs laying around, it’s probably a good idea to transfer them to the large external drive for safekeeping.

Some manufacturers, like Maxtor, which makes many of the hard drives in the computers on the market today, offer a one-touch push button backup model for all of those important files and other precious movies, graphics and photos that you may want to archive. Maxtor products can be found at www.maxtor.com.

If you were wondering about the amount of space needed, just think about this: A 40 gigabyte Maxtor external drive holds up to 10,000 MP3 files, 40 hours of MPEG video, 3 hours of DV video and 40,000 digital photos.

Most external drives use the USB and/or Fire wire interface to transfer data from the computer to the device. While shopping, you may run across certain numbers, like 7200 RPM. This only implies how fast the drive can read/write information at 7,200 revolutions per minute. The higher the number, the faster the drive will be. If you are using USB, the standard is now USB 2.0.

For network backup solutions, Iomega ® makes a 250GB high speed network hard drive for under $400, which is also wireless compatible. Network installation is very easy. All you basically have to do is plug it in and start sharing files. They also include in the package the touch-free Iomega Automatic Backup software. All important files can be saved automatically. You can customize your own backup settings, just tell the software which files you want to save and it does the rest.

Some of the other items in this package include one Ethernet cable, a power supply and the following software: MUSICMATCHâ„¢ Jukebox, Adobe ® Photoshop Albumâ„¢ 2.0 Starter Ed. and a 4-seat user license for the Iomega ® Automatic Backup software. This all comes with a one year warranty.

For people who are always on the move and size is an important factor, check out the LaCie Pocket Drive. It is small enough to fit inside your pocket and holds an amazing 40GB of information. It is surrounded by silicone for good shock protection, in case you make a mistake and drop it. This drive is also self-powered; it gets power from your computer or laptop when you plug it in. You may use either FireWire or USB connectors. The speed is 4200 RPM.

Another nice feature is that you can unplug it from one computer and plug it into another without rebooting the machine. For those who have a computer that boots up very slow, this is what you need.
