I was taken to the hospital on February 18, 2007. Without details, my condition was/is called “conduction aphasia,” medically speaking. That has caused me to think more deeper than ever on my witness of the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan and his relation to the Honorable Elijah Muhammad. That experience caused me to see deeper and appreciate more than ever, his power of speech.

The word “profound” is not deep enough, or wide enough, to express his overall value adequately to humanity. I’m not exaggerating. (More on this word, “exaggeration, its evil use and its righteous use.”)

Minister Farrakhan had an experience that was extraordinary and had an impact on the world, and it continues to impact the world, even though most people on the planet do not know of it right now. I want the readers, to be acquainted with what I call his, “more than a vision” experience he had on September 17, 1985, while in Mexico.

He first told it to his wife Mother Khadijah and Mother Tynnetta Muhammad. A few days later when he saw me in Phoenix, Arizona, he told it to me. It had a powerful impact on me when he first told me what he told me of his experience. I wanted others to learn of his experience and under what circumstances he had it.

Years later due to that event, I decided to write a book that included a chapter on his experience. That book included words from Mother Tynnetta Muhammad of his experience. I asked Mother Tynnetta Muhammad, wife of the Honorable Elijah Muhammad, to give me a statement of her first reaction to his experience.

So, I asked her in 1991: “Please tell me when and where Minister Farrakhan first spoke to you of his, what I call his “more than a vision,” which he experienced back on September 17, 1985.”

“On the morning of September 19, 1985, immediately within hours of Mexico City’s worst earthquake, which occurred at 7:19 a.m. in the morning, the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan and his wife Mother Khadijah, left the hotel where they were staying in Tepoztlan and traveled to Cuernavaca to the home of Mother Tynnetta Muhammad.

“As they came up the steps into the kitchen area, Minister Farrakhan reached the top step and when turning into the kitchen, he suddenly recalled that he was taken up into the Mother Plane. As he entered the door, he began to share the experience that he had two days earlier on September the 17th.

“He appeared a little dazed as he sat down at the kitchen table. He spoke about climbing the sacred mountain called Tepozteco Mountain at the top of which is a small pyramid dedicated to the former king of Tepozteco. These histories of the Indigenous People of Mexico all ultimately lead to unveiling parts of the history of the great folk hero of all of Meso America known as Quetzalcoatl.

“The Minister began to describe that he was climbing the mountain, with a few companions, when suddenly an unidentified flying object (UFO) appeared upward at the side of the mountain where the pyramid is located. He then described that three metal legs appeared from the bottom of the wheel like plane. He said he heard a voice telling him. ‘Not them; just you.’ And that he was told to relax. He said a light came from the ship and he was carried up on a beam of light into it.

“He said that when inside this spacecraft that he never saw the face of the pilot or heard words from him. It moved away from the side of the mountain at a terrific speed. He said that he knew he was being transported to the Mother Wheel and that the pilot knew he was frightened of seeing such a great ship (the Mother Wheel). The pilot maneuvered his craft in a way that he did not see the Mother Wheel and backed into it in a tunnel.

“Minister Farrakhan went on to say that the pilot escorted him to a room. In the ceiling was a speaker. Then he said he heard the voice of the Honorable Elijah Muhammad clearly speaking to him.

“He said that the Honorable Elijah Muhammad began speaking to him and as he did, a scroll rolled down in front of him.

“He said the Honorable Elijah Muhammad began to reveal to him information about a war being planned by the president and the Joint Chiefs of Staff. He said the Honorable Elijah Muhammad wanted him to deliver this message at a press conference in Washington, D.C. and to reveal their plans and to tell them that he got this information from Elijah Muhammad on the Wheel. He told him that he had one more thing to do and that when he did that one more thing he would be permitted to come to the Wheel and see him face to face.

“I remember that I experienced with great excitement, enthusiasm and palpitation of my heart and I said to him, Brother Minister, do you realize what you’re saying? And he responded by asking me what did I see in this experience? I was so overwhelmed in my response that I could only think, my God; he literally had met with my husband. He has begun to communicate with him in his journey much like Ezekiel being taken up on a Wheel within a Wheel.

“As I began to piece this experience together, in later days, I recalled the scriptures from both Bible and Holy Qur’an that mentioned Moses’ mystical experience in the mountain, where he left the children of Israel below and at that particular time, there were only a few elders or companions who were able to be present at the foot of the mountain.

“In the experience, the tablets were revealed and Moses was not able to see the face of his Lord, but was only able to see, according to the Bible, his hinder parts, his back parts, as he went by him. And again, in each instance of his highly mystical contact with God, there was a great earthquake.”

“Thank you, Mother Tynnetta Muhammad.”

A few days later Minister Farrakhan came to Phoenix, Arizona, with Mother Khadijah and Mother Tynnetta Muhammad. That’s when he told me of his electrifying experience. I’m going to share my first reaction to that experience next article, Allah willing.Years after his experience I wrote a first draft of a 25,000 word commentary on the veracity, significance and power of his experience. That was a chapter I wrote for a book. I wrote that first draft back in 1991.

While I was in the hospital about, or right after, February 18 for some weeks during March 2007, some of that material from that first draft, was sent to and printed in The Final Call. I’m grateful for that.

I’ve thanked Sister Traci (now of Phoenix) who sent some of my words to The Final Call to be printed for the public. Brother Jesse Muhammad, (of Muhammad Mosque #45) helped her with my words during that time. I was not able to keep up my articles during that time. I’m grateful for what they did.

That helped me to bear witness to Minister Farrakhan’s experience that the Honorable Elijah Muhammad is very much ALIVE.

So much is happening so fast throughout America and the world that quickly brings to mind this, that or the other prophesy written of these days that has either been fulfilled, is being fulfilled, or is about to be fulfilled, that it’s hard to comment comprehensively within the space of a short article.

Fundamental to the correct understanding of everything that is taking place is the following fact. Starting in 1931, the Honorable Elijah Muhammad met and was being taught by Allah in the Person of Master Fard Muhammad. People saw and heard Him, and formed ideas of Him, but did not recognize that He was in fact The One of Whom all of the prophets prophesized to come had arrived.

The Honorable Elijah Muhammad taught us that He taught him, in Person, for three years and four months–from September 1931 onwards. This education included a thorough understanding of the Bible and Holy Qur’an.

When most think of the Old Testament, New Testament and Holy Qur’an, they think of Jews, Christians and Muslims respectively. The power of the truth that was revealed to the Honorable Elijah Muhammad is in the process of forcing the world to come to a new understanding of the scriptures.

Allah revealed to the Honorable Elijah Muhammad that the history in these scriptures of these three groups of people ultimately refers to Original people here in America and in this time period.

The Honorable Elijah Muhammad was taught by One Who went under the name (at first) of “W.D. Fard,” later adding “Muhammad” in 1933, as the Honorable Elijah Muhammad said He did. That was the same year He also gave him the name “Muhammad,” replacing the name “Karriem” (that He had given him earlier) with which He replaced his slave name.

Certainly, I did not hear or read everything the Honorable Elijah Muhammad spoke or wrote of the truth he was taught. But I bear witness to the truth of what he taught–even to that which I did not hear him say or write. Please expect an explanation soon.

I heard him say that his Teacher taught him that He used the name “Wallace” signifying “friend” and that He had befriended us, “the rejected and despised” of all people; that He had befriended us, a friendless people; and that He had befriended us to give us friendship with the righteous the world over.

I heard him say that he did not know what the “D” meant, but that does not mean that he didn’t later learn its meaning and mentioned it to others.

One of the reasons He used the name “Fard” was to declare that He was self-independent and He has come to make us, who were the most dependent people, especially on our open enemy, the most independent nation that ever lived.

One of the meanings of His use of the name “Muhammad” was that He was the “Praised One” Who was worthy of praise and that He had come to make us the praised of the nations.

There’s a little more that I did learn that I won’t mention here. Moreover, I am sure the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan (and others) learned what I did and more. In any case, this is clear: Two powerful signs of the truth and the power of His names can easily be seen in the rise to imminence of the Honorable Elijah Muhammad and now Minister Farrakhan.

Like Moses, according to the scriptures, who sought from God a special helper, the Honorable Elijah Muhammad sought from his Teacher a special helper to help him with what his Teacher informed him was the hardest job the Almighty ever gave to any man who ever lived.

From the ’30s onward, he continued to be on the lookout for signs from his Teacher of the identity of this special helper. In his February 1954 Saviour’s Day speech he declared:

“Since you and me are witnesses here this afternoon in this world that we live, we have been so greatly misunderstood that I desire that Allah send to me a little helper; for 22 years I have worked hard wherever I was or may be to try to get into your ears and into your hearts the truth that Allah has revealed to me.”

The next year, on February 26, 1955–the year that marked the fulfillment of the 400-year prophesy that we were to serve our enemies (Genesis 15)–the Honorable Elijah Muhammad was divinely given that sign. He recognized that special helper who was sitting in the audience and at once gave him the essence of his assignment.

That special helper, of course, is Minister Farrakhan. He would have to be that special helper to share with his teacher the hardest job God ever gave to any man!

#598 “To blame a man of God for our misfortunes is doubly unjust. For he comes to save us from misfortune, and it is because we flout him or pay no heed to him, that our own rebellion brings its own punishment. If we realize this truth we shall be saved from two sins: (1) the sin of injustice to God’s Messengers, who come for our good, and not for our harm; (2) the sin of not realizing our own shortcomings or rebellion, and thus living in spiritual darkness. If the Message is from God, that carries its own authority: ‘enough is God for a witness.’ ”

#599 “The Apostle was sent to preach, guide, instruct, and show the Way, not to drive people to good, or to detect all that was evil. That is not God’s Plan, which trains the human Will. The Apostle’s duty is therefore to convey the Message of God, in all the ways of persuasion that are open to him. If men perversely disobey the Message, they are not disobeying him, but they are disobeying God. In the same way those who obey the Message are obeying God. They are not obliging the Messenger: they are merely doing their duty.”

#600 “If we trust … people who are not true, they are more likely to hinder than to help. But God is All-good as well as All-powerful, and all our affairs are best entrusted to His care. His is the best Guardian of all interests.

“Therefore we should not trust the lip professions of Hypocrites, but trust in God. Nor should our confidence in God be shaken by any secret plots that enemies hatch against us. We should take all human precautions against them, but having done so, we should put our trust in God, Who knows the inner working of events better than any human mind can conceive.”

A few articles ago I wrote: “Over the past few weeks, I’ve been thinking deeply over where we’re at in the divine scheme of things. Also, I’ve been thinking deeply over what we’re about to enter real soon as it pertains to the end of one world and the beginning of another world.”

Most Christian theologians teach that Jesus rose from death, went up into the sky, and now sits on the right-hand side of God. They also teach that he will one day return, with angels, to complete the work he started 2,000 years ago.

Again, they teach that Jesus’ followers suffered, in his absence, to complete the process of qualifying them to enter the government or kingdom of God. They say that this kingdom is to be set up soon on earth when Jesus returns. We don’t doubt that God’s government will be set up soon on this planet. In fact, we are working hard to qualify ourselves, and our people to get into it under the guidance of the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan. But we do not agree with the white man’s teachings about Jesus.

For example, we learned from the Honorable Elijah Muhammad what Jesus thought of himself while he lived. What he thought of himself does not agree with what white people teach about Jesus. In fact, we now know from the Honorable Elijah Muhammad that white people cannot verify their teachings of Jesus. Now we know that many things we were made to think took place 2,000 years ago are taking place in this generation even as I write these words.

The final aspect of that doom is just about upon us. The power of the white race is nearly destroyed. This situation is directly related to the fact that the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan must leave for awhile, “… he will NOT have gone to death. He WILL have gone to the Christ–the Honorable Elijah Muhammad. Not long after, he WILL return. We will suffer a little more than we have, while he is gone. This is part of the process of qualifying a people for God’s government, which is to be more fully set up hereafter the fall of this world.”

We pray to Him to be found worthy to enter it. We also hope the same for our people, though most of them have not accepted the chief means to enter. The chief means is the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan. They will. Soon. As the Honorable Elijah Muhammad taught that the word of God, through His Messenger, is not enough to give full life to the “bones” (Black people of America). Something extra is needed. Foreseeing this, the Bible writers wrote that God would have to whip His people. This is happening right now.

This involves the breaking of the power of the slavemaster, on whom His people depend, as they should depend on Him. The complete fall of this world and the chastisement will come as a shock. This is because the vast majority refuse to take the advice of Minister Farrakhan. Therefore, they are not prepared for what is upon us all. It should be remembered that this divine whipping is no more than the just–and even merciful–consequences of the rejection of Allah, His Messenger and the truth. It will be terrible. However, the ultimate effect will be to bring Black people to their senses. Then, they will realize that the Honorable Elijah Muhammad told us the full truth of people and things. Then, they will accept him. They will also accept themselves for what they are–Muslims. As it is written all the dead will rise.

During this time, the hypocrites will be sifted from the ranks of the Believers. They simply won’t stand up under the final trials of the Believers. In various ways, they will be manifested. Then God will punish the hypocrites severely. During the Honorable Minister Farrakhan’s absence–and on his return–the power of the white race will be completely broken, up to a point. Some of them will live through the destruction of their world and the resurrection of the Black nation. This is in the Bible. Wise whites know why some of them will be saved from the fire.

Clearly, this is a serious time. It is written that this would be a time of trouble such as never was; nor will such time ever come again. These are times of the greatest confusion, fear, anger, despair, and deceit. It is also the time of the greatest display of God’s powers.

The hope that results from a clear vision of a good future can be found in but a few people. In them is the light of the understanding of the truth. The origin of this light is Allah, the Supreme Being. He has filled the Christ–the Honorable Elijah Muhammad, with His light. His Christ and our Christ, therefore, is the light of the world. As long as He is in the world He is its light. Those who accept this have this light in themselves. The rejecters remain in the dark.

Physical light enables our physical eyes to see physical realities. Spiritual truths give power to our spiritual (mental) eyes to see spiritual realities. If we shut our eyes to physical light, we can see nothing. Though light be all around us, we remain in the dark. Likewise, if we shut our minds to truth, we can know nothing. In ignorance we remain, though truth be all around us.

Light is one of the elements in the message of the Honorable Elijah Muhammad now through the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan. This light grants a clear view of reality up to the time when Allah, in the Person of Master Fard Muhammad, ushers in that which no eyes have seen, or ears have heard. He will do this through His Apostle. That blessing is prepared for His own.

This thought should correspond to the times in which we live; as these are the most critical times man has ever faced. We are witnesses of the greatest change in the history of man’s existence. At the root of this change is the Christ–the Honorable Elijah Muhammad working through the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan. He says that we are living in a time of complete change. The world we are in is on its way out, and a new one is on its way in. Everyone will be forced to make a change, since a total change is being forced on all.

Of course, the biggest factor involves the activity of the Almighty God, Allah Himself. This teaching includes the truth of Jesus, which clears away for all time the mystery and confusion in the minds of people about him. The truth about Jesus is vital to an understanding of the earth-shaking events of today.

When the public reads the front cover of The Final Call, (Vol. 28 No. 3) published by the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan, the headline states, “A NEW BEGINNING–Minister Louis Farrakhan announces expanded mission for Nation of Islam.”

This is happening in the Nation of Islam, in the heartland of America–Chicago–in the midst of universal chaos.

On page 133 of Closing The Gap there is a section that contains the words of Minister Farrakhan: “The above explains why ‘we must go through much tribulation to enter into the kingdom of God.’ (Acts 14:22)

“What we are experiencing now is the chaotic disorder of the breaking down of a world that will give birth to the order of a new world. So this chaos is absolutely and vitally necessary to create the motion toward order.”

The book of Acts reads that Jesus said of Paul “… for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel: for I will show him how great things he must suffer for my name’s sake.”

“… in the last days perilous times shall come.” (2 Timothy 3:1)

A few years ago, I wrote an article containing these words: “The worst kind of trouble arises from slander. Surah 114 urges us to seek refuge in Allah from the whispering of the slinking devil, who whispers, not into the ear, or the head, but into the very hearts of people.”

“Let us keep this in mind and never forget it: Minister Farrakhan has said that his teacher taught him that if we repeat a slander three times we become a part of it. At that point we are in the greatest need of Allah to help us get out of that kind of mess. We can get so deep in the grip of this evil that we cannot get ourselves out of it without help that is greater than its grip.”

Two nights just before Saviours Day 1971, in the home of the Honorable Elijah Muhammad, he said something that I want to quote here that pertains to a powerful principle that Minister Farrakhan had taught from his teacher.

The event that occurred just two days (or nights) before Saviours Day. The Honorable Elijah Muhammad was speaking to a little over 85 of his Laborers, one of whom he was addressing directly.

In an article I wrote on August 13, 1996 (Volume 15; No 29) of The Final Call I quoted the Honorable Elijah Muhammad’s words:

“Whenever you accuse an innocent man of that which he didn’t do, the heavens and the earth cry out for justice for the innocent man. And the punishment he would have received, if he was guilty, falls upon the head of the accuser.” Then I wrote that, “There was total silence in the room.

“The Honorable Louis Farrakhan was the one who broke the silence by respectfully asking his teacher of the acceptability of repentance.

“The Honorable Elijah Muhammad responded: ‘O yes, Brother. Repentance is accepted. But if the accusation was open, the repentance must be open. And it must be in time.’ ”

“The Minister’s words between the two parts of his teacher’s words are like the work he has been doing these near 19 years. His is, among other things, doing a work of Grace! God put him here to give us, our people and this country–and even some others–a chance before the breaking out of ARMAGEDDON!”

It’s in the news and was reported that a Wheel was seen on October the 19th during or just after his closing remarks. Those who think, or have said, that the Honorable Louis Farrakhan lied, or is in any way spooky himself, about his vision, the Honorable Elijah Muhammad being alive, about the reality of the Wheel or Mother Plane, with her smaller 1,500 bombing planes, have put themselves in a terrible position.

The Honorable Elijah Muhammad said that whatever we thought–not just spoke out loud–about him was heard, whether it was for or against him. The same is so regarding the Honorable Louis Farrakhan. So, those who have and are slandering him don’t have much time to stop and repent of that before Allah’s wrath falls upon them.

Surah 33:58 warns us not to even annoy a believer. Look up the definition of annoy. This is the least of all the things you can do against a Believer.

Minister Farrakhan is an exceptional Believer. So, let us be careful of what we think of him and how. Remember, the Honorable Elijah Muhammad loves him with intensity and is using him to get all of his people–whom he loves in the most profound way. Be careful how you talk of and treat such a valuable man, who is extremely precious in his Backer’s sight–Allah and His Christ.

On page 69 of Closing The Gap: “Brother Jabril: The very source of the quality of your sense of humor, as I have had a chance to witness, is tremendously illustrated in the work of the cartoonist against you. The way you reacted and handled that entire episode is a perfect illustration of the truth of what you just said; the ability not to take oneself so seriously, which is related to not making oneself at the center of reality, but to be God-centered. This is what I was driving at. Your sense of humor comes from a quality of character, which the Honorable Elijah Muhammad demonstrated among us.

“Brother Minister, it is a fact that any of us who had the privilege of working with you up close well knows; anyone who has observed you from a distance, but has knowledge of you will bear witness to the same. I am referring to your stupendous and the strenuous nature of your travels; which you have kept up non-stop, going on twenty-two years, in fulfillment of your assignment. It is a fact that you have a schedule, which is practically unbelievable, especially the traveling schedule, which is ‘unreal.’ To what degree do you feel love motivates and fuels you to do what you do in the way that you do it?

“Minister Farrakhan: That is the answer. Love is the power. Love is the force. Love is the gasoline or the fuel that allows one, such as myself, to do what I do and appear indefatigable, untired, not worn by what one does, and it is precisely because I love so much of what I am doing.

“I love to impart knowledge. I love to see the eyes of a human being come open to truths that mean something or can be a motivating factor to make their personal lives more meaningful. This is what gives meaning to my own life. As I give, I get; as I feed, I am fed; as I energize others, I too, am energized because I believe that is what I am born into this world to do.

“Brother Jabril: Thank you, Minister Farrakhan.

“Minister Farrakhan: You are welcome.”

The post A ‘New Beginning’ in the Midst of a Chaotic World appeared first on Final Call News.

There are many religious scholars that study the Bible that are very intelligent and learned. They are well-acquainted with much concerning the Bible. Some surely know that this book contains God’s plan of salvation, which was written in advance. Some well know that the writers of the Bible also wrote that God’s plans include the need for a period of time during which He would judge the world of the wicked. Some are well aware that during this specific period of time, when God judges the world of the wicked, a total change will transpire. Nothing that exists now will eventually be in God’s Kingdom. Rulers will lose their power. Governments will crumble and disappear.

Some scholars also know that in the midst of all of these momentous events, a people who have suffered like no other will be treated with the greatest favor by the Lord of the worlds. I don’t see how they can honestly disagree that this particular people are the Black man and woman of America.

Many, who read the Bible, believe that at least 200 million people will die during the great War of Armageddon. There are those that think the figure will go well over a billion. And there are those, who are wiser, such as the Honorable Elijah Muhammad, who know that God’s threat is that the number could be even much greater than that due to the fact that there are really very few people who really want to do God’s will–at present. So this tells us that time of upheaval, trouble, stress and distress will be unique in the history of God and man.

One of the unique aspects of that time will be man’s ability to destroy himself. I’ve heard some speak as though they realize we are in that time now.

Or perhaps, I should state outright that the Pope is far too intelligent a man not to know that we are in that critical time and it is now.

The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan, of course, states that we are at the end of this world’s time now. He expects the return of the Christ, whom he represents. Does the Pope expect the return of the Christ of whom it is written that he will have a large part of the judgment and destruction of this world?

There is no way to deal honestly with all that I have been writing in this series of articles about the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan without touching the Pope’s claim to represent the Christ.

The Honorable Elijah Muhammad warns, in The Fall of America, that since so very few on earth want to do God’s will that very few may be left after Armageddon is over.   Only Allah’s truth and mercy will change this.

A Brother wrote me a letter a few months ago asking about “homily.” I don’t have the letter in front of me but he wanted to know more about it and what it is.

 A homily is intended to edify a group, or enlighten and encourage, especially in spiritual and moral areas, on some practical matter.

How to keep humanity from self-extinction is certainly a matter of the most practical kind and requires the greatest degree of spirituality and mentality.

As I read his letter I thought about the year Isaiah spoke of (Isaiah 61:1-3) “acceptable year?” If so, it is also the day of God’s vengeance. Let’s look at this passage.

Isaiah 61:1-3: “The spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn; To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.”

Notice that the “acceptable year” is also the “day of vengeance,” according to what God revealed to this man of God. Why? What are the events to take place that make that “day” a day of both?

Jesus, according to Luke 4:18-22, spoke these words before a congregation: “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord. And he closed the book, and he gave it again to the minister, and sat down. And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him. And he began to say unto them, This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears. And all bear him witness, and wondered at the gracious words, which proceeded out of his mouth. And they said, Is not this Joseph’s son?”    

Why didn’t he mention the vengeance factor? What is this factor of vengeance related to? In other words why must God Himself take vengeance on some in favor of others? And who are the people involved? Why did Jesus omit the sentence that contains vengeance? Is this because acceptance of him forestalls, delays or permanently puts off vengeance?

Vengeance means the infliction of punishment in return for a wrong committed; retribution. It is the infliction of injury, harm, humiliation, or the like in return for an injury or other offense received.

Vengeance is the act of retaliating. It includes the ideas found in words (and realities) such as revenge, retaliation, reprisal, retribution, counterattack, counteraction, counterblow, counterstroke, reciprocation, requital.

Now this word vengeance comes from a Latin word vindicare from which comes the word “vindicate.” Vindicate means to clear from an accusation or suspicion. It is to afford justification for, justify; to uphold or justify by argument or evidence; to maintain or defend against opposition. It also means in certain uses, to claim oneself or another.

Now this word has meanings that the dictionary says are obsolete, archaic, old and not in use any more. Those meanings are to avenge; to free; liberate; to punish.

Looking deeper into this word’s roots, in Latin, we come to vindicatus, which is the past participle of vindicare, which means to free someone from servitude by claiming him as free, protect, avenge, punish.

This word is derived from a Latin word “vindex” which refers to a claimant, protector or an avenger.

In the 12th chapter of Romans, verse 19, Paul is giving advice to his followers. He wrote: “Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves … for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.”

It seems that to avenge means something good for some and not so good for others–at some time.

The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan in Chicago, Illinois announced publicly to about 3,000 people that the Honorable Elijah Muhammad was not dead on February 22, 1981.

Does this involve you?

In the Holy Qur’an English translation by Maulana Muhammad Ali, we can read in Chapter 47:25, “Surely those who turn back after guidance is manifest to them, the devil embellishes it for them; and lengthens false hopes for them.”

Now, in the same book, we can read this: 3:85, “How shall Allah guide a people who disbelieved after their believing, and (after) they had borne witness that the Messenger was true, and clear arguments had come to them? And Allah guides not the unjust people.”

Did not we disbelieve after believing, and we did this after bearing witness that the Honorable Elijah Muhammad was true?   Did he not give us clear and convincing arguments of the truth of God–the Supreme Being–our enemies, ourselves, and his mission, and the time in which we live and the changes God has set in motion for the destruction of this evil world and the setting up of a brand new world–the Kingdom of Heaven or God?

Look at the series of problems these verses, at this time present.

What does the word “how” mean? Among its meanings are: in what way or manner; to what degree, extent, or amount; at what price, for what sum; to what effect; with what meaning.  

How also means this: “for what reason or purpose?”

The word “how” also refers to a manner, method, or means of doing or bringing about something.

Now, let us go back about some years ago. It does not take a genius to see how the words of the Holy Qur’an cited above were and are being fulfilled in and around us.  

If we could see what was about to happen to the Nation of Islam from the perspective of God and the Honorable Elijah Muhammad, and if you had the power to either prevent the fall of the Nation, or to allow it to fall and bring it back again, what would you have done?  

Would it have been wise to prevent it from falling? The answer simply stated is, No!

On the other hand, if it were wiser to permit the Nation to fall, then one of the many questions that would have to be decided is the question of how the Nation would be revived. This, and other decisions, would have to be decided before the Nation fell–and obviously they were.

The Honorable Elijah Muhammad came to see the best method by which the question of how should be answered from the Supreme Being–God Himself–Master Fard Muhammad.

God Himself saw Minister Farrakhan before the Honorable Elijah Muhammad physically saw him in February 1955.

Let us remember beloved Brothers and Sisters, that we are not considering some arbitrary, capricious, superficial choice involving Minister Farrakhan. We are dealing with a very important aspect of an action involving our Brother–Minister Farrakhan–that flows out of the infinite wisdom and eternal counsel of God Himself.

Do not play games trying to match up scripture and people and play games with our Brother who–not from his own choice–but from the choice of the Being Who knows what we think and feel; even to what our minds even suggest.

Minister Farrakhan had absolutely nothing to do with the choice that was exercised by the Living God, Master Fard Muhammad, and the Honorable Elijah Muhammad, to function as he does.

Stop and think for a minute. Think about the kind of dedication, determination and the intensity of the love in the Honorable Elijah Muhammad for Black people.

Think about what he taught us of his Teacher’s love (Master Fard Muhammad) for us, that it is greater than a mother’s love for her child.  

Do you think that They would be careless in providing and preparing the perfect answer to the question of “how” we were to be guided “… who disbelieved after their believing … .?”

Think about these words in the Holy Qur’an.

Notice the second sentence in verse 85, “And Allah guides not the unjust people.”

Can you not see how much of a mercy our Brother, Minister Farrakhan is–whom God raised up from His own wisdom and also in answer to the Messiah’s prayer?

How you really study Luke 22:31, 32? Do we really study Minister Farrakhan’s words?

Among the things that he had said very publicly was that his teacher, the Honorable Elijah Muhammad is very much alive and is in power as you read these words. He never changed that.  

Have not you seen Minister Farrakhan gratefully state that he is backed by the grace of the Supreme Being and the Honorable Elijah Muhammad?

How can any of you, who followed the Honorable Elijah Muhammad, prior to 1975, deny the grace of God–Allah–flowing through our Brother, Minister Farrakhan, and yet claim to love the Honorable Elijah Muhammad?

This is written out of love and to stimulate and deepen thought with the hope that we take after Minister Farrakhan’s example and lift up the banner of Islam as taught by the Honorable Elijah Muhammad. This is directed towards you who for whatever your reason, are indecisive about Minister Farrakhan.

Think over Jesus’ answer in the Bible, in Matthew 18:22, “Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times; but, Until seventy times seven.”

Then look at the parable that follows and the lesson Jesus drove home in verse 35. It reads: “So likewise shall my heavenly father do also unto you, if you from your hearts forgive not everyone his brother or sister their trespasses.”

There is so much to be said, on this vast subject, involving the person and work of Minister Farrakhan.

Who backs Minister Farrakhan, and with what? To understand the true answer, one must grasp the truth of “where he is coming from.”

To be more precise, you must understand the forces and factors that produced him and, deeper, Those Who brought those forces and factors into being and to bear on this extraordinary Brother–Minister Farrakhan.

I wanted to put two paragraphs of Mother Tynnetta Muhammad’s article in this article. I just smile, when I read her words on Thursday, September 19th when I got the paper. Her words are related/connected to two paragraphs that I erased from this article. Study her words in Vol. 32, No. 51.

Some of what I am about to write reminds me of the following scriptures from the Bible and Holy Qur’an.

“But he was wounded for our transgressions; he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.” -Isaiah 53:5

“When Israel was a child, I loved him as a son, and I called my son out of Egypt. But the more I called to him, the more he rebelled, offering sacrifices to the images of Baal and burning incense to idols. It was I who taught Israel how to walk, leading him along by the hand.

“But he doesn’t know or even care that it was I who took care of him. I led Israel along with my ropes of kindness and love. I lifted the yoke from his neck, and I Myself stooped to feed him.

“For my people are determined to desert me. They call me the Most High, but they don’t truly honor me.

“I will not completely destroy Israel, for I am God and not a mere mortal. I am the Holy One living among you, and I will not come to destroy.

“For someday the people will follow the LORD. I will roar like a lion, and my people will return trembling from the west. And I will bring them home again, says the LORD.” –Hosea 11:1-4; 7-8; 10,11)

“Those who believe and do good deeds, for them the Beneficent will surely bring about love.” (Holy Qur’an 19:96) (The Living Bible)

The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan arrived in Phoenix, Arizona on June 2, 2006.

As we all know, Minister Farrakhan has been under medical supervision to come out of a condition that oft-times includes pain. Pain was an aspect of the context of Minister Farrakhan’s state during the wonderful period of time I was blessed to spend with my Brother.

One might ask, why would Jabril burden Minister Farrakhan off and on throughout June and July with one question after another? Why burden the man sitting in the seat of the Honorable Elijah Muhammad with questions–especially when he is not feeling well?

There were several days when it seemed that he could hardly get out of his car. There were many days when his walk was slow. Not every day–but several days.

I am trying to give you a glimpse or view of the circumstances and condition under which I interviewed him on several days during June and July.

Why did I ask him if he would agree to be questioned? Why did he agree to be interviewed?

If you did not ask yourself those questions, why not? If you did, you are immediately on the right path to understanding something very significant concerning Minister Farrakhan, which touches all of our lives–everywhere on this Earth.

Due to a particular experience I had earlier this year and due to certain moves Minister Farrakhan intended to make, that he shared with me when I first saw him in June, I knew I did not have much time to do that which I wanted to do. It was to ask him a certain group of questions for the completion of the book, Closing the Gap, which has been a work-in-progress for several years.

The core of why I sought to interview him can be seen, in part, in one of the first questions I asked of him.

In Farrakhan: The Traveler; Volume 25, Number 37, I wrote:

“I ended my last article with: ‘Let’s see if his early history contains facts that tally with the interpretation of scriptures God taught the Honorable Elijah Muhammad.’

“As I prepared to do the best I could to continue this line of thought, it occurred to me to raise a question to the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan on June 8, 2006, while he was here in Phoenix, Arizona. His wonderful and insightful answer is parenthetical in the course of what I am stating, by Allah’s mercy.

“Minister Jabril: Brother Minister, how would you define the art of conversation? How would you define the best kind of conversation Muslims should be engaging in, especially in this critical hour, as it’s getting darker?” [Italics mine]

Look again at the words: “especially in this critical hour, as it’s getting darker?” I am in no way being insulting. The fact is that we all live our lives under difficult circumstances, with seemingly countless things to do, under many pressures. Some of these are due to inadequacies we have yet to overcome. The broad context is that we are living at the end of the world–something that has never occurred before, which will never occur again.

Therefore, some things get by us or we forget too quickly, etc.

A major factor that also blocks our learning is something that Minister Farrakhan deals with, in this book, brilliantly–even more than that. It’s our judgmental attitude or state of mind.

If you have not read his answer on the nature of conversations, we should do it now. It can affect our lives for the better at once.

Just read and think on the answer he gave about the best kinds of conversations Muslims should be engaging. The effect his words have on you is proof enough of the source of his wisdom. What he said, in answer to that question, tallies with the effect his words have.

What about those who disbelieve or doubt? The Qur’an has adequately answered that. They remain blind or degenerate into spiritual blindness.

With the above said, let’s begin to answer these above questions so we can move on. Every question I asked him was with the “dark hour” in mind. Every answer he gave was on how to help us get through that period, by Allah’s help.

Several times, as he was answering my questions, I was so moved that I shook or squeezed his hand even while he was speaking. Why? I “saw” the “gap” being closed more rapidly when readers read his words. How does this occur?

The answer reminds me of the prophecy contained in the 11th chapter of the Book of Hosea. There it’s written that God would draw us to Himself with thick chords of love.

I am so very thankful to Allah and His Messiah for this opportunity to help Minister Farrakhan in this manner.

Remember, in questioning him, I knew that I was questioning a man whose mind was wanted and obtained by the Honorable Elijah Muhammad for information for others who never met and (mostly) never saw or obtained a “feeling” for the kind of man he was and is.

The early Christians believed that they were living at the end of the world of evil. They believed that they were being persecuted by those who were desperately trying to hold on to power, against the will and power of God. They also believed that God, and/or Jesus was on the way to relieve them of their suffering; to vindicate them; to set them fully free; to punish their enemies.

Well, as we all know the “end” did not come 2,000 years ago. They were mistaken about the time. However, they serve as signs–types–of that which is taking place today at the real end of this world.

If at the end of the world God is to come to build as well as to destroy, we must not shrink or turn our heads in disdain from the notion that the activities of God, especially in the last days of this world, includes destruction and death. Many people have a conception of God that is very unrealistic and that involves the idea that God does not kill and destroy. This is baseless.

Now, even if Jesus preached that “year,” it did not come 2,000 years ago.   How does this “year” and this “day” of which Isaiah spoke correspond to the “one day” of Revelation 18:8?

Revelation 18:8 reads: “Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God who judgeth her.”

Consider Joel 3:1-3:

“For, behold, in those days, and in that time, when I shall bring again the captivity of Judah and Jerusalem, I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for my people and for my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and parted my land. And they have cast lots for my people; and have given a boy for a harlot, and sold a girl for wine, that they might drink.”

This is prophecy of God’s reasoning with all those responsible for our enslavement and who still hold us to them unjustly and refuse to let us go.

This is also speaking of the war of Armageddon, mentioned also in Revelation 16:6, (which I’ve here placed in context) which reads:

Revelation 16:1-18     “And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty. Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame. And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon. And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, it is done. And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great. And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath.”

Some of this is being fulfilled now. Will the rest also be fulfilled? Again, consider Joel 3:5-7:

“Because you have taken my silver and my gold, and have carried into your temples my goodly pleasant things: The children also of Judah and the children of Jerusalem have you sold unto the Grecians, that you might remove them far from their border. Behold, I will raise them out of the place whither ye have sold them, and will return your recompense upon your own head.”

In fact, we should consider all of Joel, as we are all faced with this NOW!   Look at the fearsome description given in chapter 2.

 Joel 2:1, 2: “ … for the day of the LORD cometh, for it is nigh at hand; A day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness, as the morning spread upon the mountains: a great people and a strong; there hath not been ever the like, neither shall be anymore after it even to the years of many generations.”  

Verses 11-13: “And the LORD shall utter his voice before his army: for his camp is very great: for he is strong that executeth his word: for the day of the LORD is great and very terrible; and who can abide it? Therefore also now, saith the LORD, turn ye even to me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning: And rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto the LORD your God: for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repenteth him of the evil … .”

Verses 28-32: “And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit. And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke.

The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the LORD come. And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call.”

All of these words are directed to us in these days in which He Who was to come, has come, and has begun His work.

The Almighty God is the Ultimate Redeemer of His chosen people. He gave a whole nation to the Honorable Elijah Muhammad, for whom the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan is issuing The Final Call!

Allah has thoroughly pleaded our cause, as it is written in such places as Jeremiah 50: 33, 34:

“Thus saith the LORD of hosts; The children of Israel and the children of Judah were oppressed together: and all that took them captives held them fast; they refused to let them go. Their Redeemer is strong; the LORD of hosts is his name: he shall thoroughly plead their cause, that he may give rest to the land, and disquiet the inhabitants of Babylon.”

If one takes the time to examine the entire range of what the Honorable Elijah Muhammad has taught–now borne witness to by Minister Louis Farrakhan–it is clear our cause has been thoroughly pleaded.

Among the points that Minister Farrakhan emphasized is that a Black man born in Georgia was and is the Jesus of the New Testament.

There is no question that the use of the scriptures, by the Honorable Elijah Muhammad, is still very relevant—and indispensable—to the solu­tions of the problems of Black people of America, and elsewhere, by reason of the fact of the powerful effect of the work of the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan. He uses the same instruments his teacher used to do his work.

Did the Honorable Elijah Muhammad know of the mathematics in the writings of the scriptures before Doctor Khalifa, and others, did? Not only did he, but he demonstrated that he was brought into the under­stand­ing of far deeper mathematical truths, which produced, correlated and in­terlocked all aspects of reality—including all of the problems of human­ity—by Almighty God Himself. He was taught the very root of all mathe­matics. This root is in the brain, or mind, of the human being. God taught and brought him into the very nature of the movement of the mind of Him, Who originally conceived of all of that which we call “universe” and Who produced the human mind.  Allah taught him the root of math­ematics—which ultimately resides in the core of the mind of God Him­self.

The six written lessons that we received through the Honorable Elijah Muhammad were put together out of an extraordinarily high mathematical manner. And, let us remember, he was a man with a 4th grade education, who started his teachings in the 1930s, presenting scientific facts before this world’s scientists learned of them!

Yes, he knew of such high mathematics. Every now and then, in pub­lic lectures, the Honorable Elijah Muhammad indicated—and to some ex­tent explained—the relation between certain mathematical formulations con­tained in the Bible and the Holy Qur’an. This make it very evident that he was more than just aware of the code, involving the number 19, with which the Holy Qur’an is written. He used it in his work among us, and still does. 

The Holy Qur’an was written by the Creator and Sustainer of the uni­verse. As we learn to follow God’s guidance, we grow to be in tune with Him, each other, ourselves and His creation. We would then live mathematically, according to our nature, and we would be benefited ac­cordingly. Greater wisdom is required and is being utilized by God in guiding people today than is used in governing the rest of creation. In fact, the divine work—now going on—of raising the spiritually dead to life; judging the world; and creating a brand new one, in which evil be­comes an impossibility, requires wisdom and power superior to what was required to bring man and the universe into being in the very begin­ning of creation! Creation, unlike man, does not rebel against the Cre­ator. Man does. So to bring into existence a world in which human be­ings will­ingly live according to the best or highest aspects of their na­ture—the na­ture of divine—requires infinite wisdom; even superior to that used in the beginning of the origin of the universe.

The Honorable Elijah Muhammad is the first man to really teach the pub­lic that Islam is mathematics and that mathematics is Islam. Both (Islam and mathematics) are the nature of God and the people He created from Himself. It is natural, therefore, that in the preparation of the Bible and the Holy Qur’an, long ago, these books were originally written in ac­cor­dance with the nature of God Himself, as He is the Author of its truths. He wrote and revealed this mighty book, the Holy Quran, accord­ing to His nature.

Certainly, the Bible has been tampered with. However, as the Honor­able Elijah Muhammad stated, the Bible is true when you understand it. God gave him the true understanding of both books. He has given that un­derstanding to Black people and the world.

The Honorable Elijah Muhammad once stated, in the Mosque in Chicago, in 1960, that Allah gave us to him (Honorable Elijah Muham­mad) before He took leave of us. And He gave him (the Honorable Elijah Muhammad) to us to bring us to Him (Allah).

The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan was produced by God for the Honor­able Elijah Muhammad to get us all for him (the Honorable Elijah Muhammad). This work is now in full progress. 

Thus, Minister Farrakhan’s success grows out of his obedience to di­vine guidance, (and deeper, as it was written, he is actually under the control of his teacher). This guidance is from the God, Who governs creation, and this guidance is through the Christ—the Honorable Elijah Muhammad. His work, therefore, being rooted in the foundation laid by the Honorable Elijah Muhammad, cannot and will not be anything other than successful because God is real and is present. The greatest of all controversies is being resolved for all time!

I once asked the Honorable Elijah Muhammad questions concerning The Supreme Wisdom Lessons given  to us by Master Fard Muhammad to His Servant The Honorable Elijah Muhammad for the Lost Found Nation of Islam in North America. I asked him why there were 10 Student Enrollment and not some other number; and why there were 20 Statements of Facts and not some other number. I knew that the numbers to our Lessons were significant. He answered by telling me that the 10 Student Enrollment represent the big family of ten; the nine planets and the sun making up the family of ten. Then he stated that the 20 Statements of Facts represents the length of time some would undergo a particular study. Then he stated to me that he’s not to tell me the answer to all that I was to study and found out for myself.

Early last year, I was with the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan at the farm in New Buffalo and I asked him how long did it take for him to complete his musical album? He told me 14 years. I knew that the 14 years was/is very significant and is connected to our Supreme Wisdom Lessons.

The Honorable Elijah Muhammad once said of and to Minister Farrakhan that he “… would rise to the pinnacle of success in this world’s life.” This world’s life has existed for six thousand years. Now we are at its end. This world rejected both God and His Anointed One, as it was expected. So did our nation (Black people of America), as a whole.

This world was doomed before it was born. Not so with our nation. Nevertheless, as we move towards the final judgment, we’ve rejected the opportunity of receiving an “A” or a “B” grade. However, we have a chance for a “C” grade through our Brother, The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan. The “C” grade will save us from the “D” (doom of this world) grade—which will do us out of God’s greatest rewards and do us in. This is a most serious matter.

Only 144,000 were prophesied to escape the doom of this world, by some of the Wise Scientists. One “slim” last chance, or way was outlined in the scriptures, however, to save the millions of our people; even to providing others of this world a way out. It’s there in the scriptures. It involved the production of Minister Farrakhan—by the Lord of the worlds, and special preparation by and the prayers of the Honorable Elijah Muhammad for him, before his departure in 1975.

“Say: O People of the Book, why do you hinder those who believe from the way of Allah, seeking (to make) it crooked, while you are witnesses? And Allah is not heedless of what you do.” (Holy Qur’an 3:98)

“And certainly We know those among you who go forward and We certainly know those who lag behind.” (Holy Qur’an 15:24)

“And the vision of all is become unto you as the words of a book that is sealed, which [men] deliver to one that is learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I cannot; for it [is] sealed: And the book is delivered to him that is not learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I am not learned.” (Isaiah 29: 11, 12)

“And in that day shall the deaf hear the words of the book, and the eyes of the blind shall see out of obscurity, and out of darkness. The meek also shall increase [their] joy in the LORD, and the poor among men shall rejoice in the Holy One of Israel. They also that erred in spirit shall come to understanding, and they that murmured shall learn doctrine.” (Isaiah 29: 18-19, 24)

“Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live. (John 5:25) For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself; (John 5:26) And hath given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man. (John 5:27) Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, (John 5:28) And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.” (John 5:29)

“… Allah, He is the Truth, and He gives life to the dead, and He is Possessor of power over all things, And the Hour is coming, there is no doubt about it; and Allah will raise up those who are in the graves.” (Holy Qur’an 22:6, 7)

How well do we understand the above (somewhat randomly selected) passages from the Bible and the Holy Qur’an? What about humanity as a whole? How well do the billions of the readers of these two books understand them?

It was in the early fall of 1931, when the Honorable Elijah Muhammad first heard that there was a man teaching “Islam” who was going by the name of Mr. W.D. Fard. He heard this from his brother, Charlie. They were then living in Detroit, Michigan. Charlie’s excitement stimulated his interest.

Although he had the wrong idea of Islam, at that time, as he thought it was a “heathen religion,” he was told enough that he wanted to meet the Teacher and hear His teachings.

There was something deeper in him that caused him to want to see and hear this man. Ever since he was a little boy–after he learned to read and write–he was a reader of the Bible. He only went to the fourth grade of school, as his father needed him to work in the fields. His father was a sharecropper.

He was not at all lazy, but when he was a little boy, he said, he would crawl under a house or a barn, and read the Bible, as often as he could. He was drawn to its contents.

Now it’s September 1932. He was told that Mr. W.D. Fard was teaching a few people in a basement. He went there but did not see Him. He was told the man was there earlier.

His determination to see Him intensified. He went to other meetings held there and elsewhere, but continued to miss Him until the night of September 22nd. He was eager to see and hear Mr. Fard because he had a strong feeling about this man’s identity. He had quietly grown to expect the man whom his understanding of the Bible told him he should expect, “right about that time.” He felt this was the One he was expecting, prophesied in the Bible.

As soon as he saw and heard Mr. Wallace D. Fard, he knew Him to be the One the world had been expecting for the last 2,000 years. It came to him that the man he beheld was the very man expected by the prophets and others, Who would come in, or under, many good names: Jesus included.

That which Mr. W.D. Fard said and did, at that meeting, convinced the Honorable Elijah Muhammad of the truth of His identity. The Messenger would later say to his followers and to the world that the first thing that struck him about Mr. Fard was that His words and actions tallied with the Bible’s prophecy about what the coming One would say and do on His arrival.

Mr. Fard began speaking on the origin of things. He went on to teach of the measurements of the Earth, its weight, the distances between the Earth, the sun and other planets. He spoke of their rotation, measurements and so on.

He could not but compare what he was listening to, with the prophecy of the coming of God in the book of Habakkuk and elsewhere in the Bible.

Mr. W.D. Fard said much about the nature and history of Black and White people. He spoke about the future, including the coming judgment of this world and of the new world to be established after this world’s power was broken.

He said that Mr. Fard Muhammad went on to say that we were not in our own names, that we were in the names of White people, that He had come to give us our own names (names of God and our people). As he listened, Elijah said to himself: “This has got to be the man.”

When the meeting was over, he got in line with others to shake the Speaker’s hand. When his turn came, Elijah told Him that He was the One Whom the Bible’s prophets foresaw coming along about that time, about 2,000 years after Jesus, or the Son of Man.

Almost simultaneously, Mr. Fard Muhammad looked around to see who else heard that, and then looked at Elijah a little sternly. His smile followed the look. He bent His head close to him, put one hand on his shoulder, and the other on his forehead. Pressing His mouth against Elijah’s ear, He whispered:

“Yes, I am that One. But who else knows that but yourself?”

A few months and 23 years later, on February 26, 1955, the Honorable Elijah Muhammad would first physically see the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan.

During his speech that day, he looked up to and gave Minister Farrakhan his assignment, when he said for him to put the teachings that he, the Honorable Elijah Muhammad, was teaching, “into that fine language that you know.”

It was his Teacher’s interpretation of the scriptures that was the means by which he recognized his “Aaron”–Minister Farrakhan.
