[Editor’s Note: This article is a reprint and was published online May 23, 2017; and The Final Call will continue to publish articles by our dear brother and friend, Minister Jabril Muhammad.]
If ones finds it hard to believe the word of God, on face value, it’s because way down deep they don’t really respect Him. Just look at Minister Farrakhan’s work from 1977 absent his teacher onward.
Why? His work ends arguments. I don’t say his work ends intelligent discussion. But we must look into the root of this.
I can’t go deep into all of this as it requires a book and this is only an article.
But his work does end endless rounds of heated, vain, even stupid and hypocritical disputes; except in the minds and hearts of those who refuse the light of God’s truth; as one would refuse to open one’s eyes to surrounding realities in the full daylight of the sun.
Will he find faith “on the earth” in the United States of America; in Black people? As Minister Farrakhan spoke and wrote, “… it will take the shock of the hour to force all of us to our knees…”. And, as it is written in the Bible and Holy Qur’an, every knee shall bow…”.
From the book, Farrakhan: the Traveler, we can read:
In a talk at the temple on Stony Island Avenue in Chicago, Illinois, July 30, 1972, the Honorable Elijah Muhammad spoke these words: “I want you to remember today that I have one of my greatest teachers here…” (at this point he turned his head towards Minister Farrakhan who was sitting among the other ministers, and near the rear of the group) “… what are you hiding around the sycamore tree for, brother? Come on out here so they can see you. We have with us today our Great National Preacher, the preacher who don’t mind going into Harlem, New York, one of the most worst towns in our nation or cities.”
“It is our Brother in Detroit or Chicago, or New York. But I want you to remember every week, he is on the air helping me to reach my people that I can’t get out of my house to reach like he. I want you to pay good attention to his preaching, his preaching is a bearing of witness to me and what God has revealed to me.”
“This is one of the strongest national preachers I have in the bounds of North America. Everywhere you hear him, listen to him; everywhere you see him, look at him; everywhere he advises you to go, go; everywhere he advises you to stay from, stay from; so we are thankful to Allah for his great helper of mine, Minister Farrakhan.”
What the Honorable Elijah Muhammad said in the above passage about his not being able to get out like Minister Farrakhan could, is indicative of the situation now. He does not appear in public. I am not saying that he cannot. However, it is the plan of Allah that he be where he is. He continues to reach the people via his chief witness, the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan. The words he spoke in 1972 were for then and for now.
The Honorable Elijah Muhammad also stated, that the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan would get the Nation “safely across the river, on his shoulders.” And when, not if, “he gets you safely to the other shore he won’t say, ‘Look at what I’ve done, but look at what Allah has done, for he is a very humble Brother.’”
In reflecting on this, the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan has said the Honorable Elijah Muhammad knew he would have to go through a humbling process before that work would begin.
Once we really behold the Powers ultimately determining the course of life on earth–and Their relevance to Minister Farrakhan– we will then have no trouble recognizing the outcome of today’s events. It then became possible to comprehend what the real new world order will be, and look like, and what we must do to qualify to live in it.
This comprehension, this increased grasp of reality, and the true forces–the Ultimate Intelligence– governing reality (in all of its manifestations) ought to inspire the kind of behavior that puts us in accord with God Almighty, Whose intelligence change of the worlds.
To continue from Farrakhan: The Traveler:
The Honorable Elijah Muhammad did not accidentally choose Minister Farrakhan to sit in his seat in his absence. At a certain point, he knew exactly how this great Brother fits into the divine scheme of things that is wisely laid out in the Bible and the Holy Qur’an. There are several Brothers and Sisters (most of whom were officials of the Honorable Elijah Muhammad) who heard the Honorable Elijah Muhammad designate our brother, well, to make it short for now, to sit in his seat in his absence, in his home. The public needs to know this.
If you admit that the Honorable Elijah Muhammad was no fool–and he most certainly was/ is not–then you are forced to acknowledge that many wise considerations went into his choice of Minister Farrakhan as his National Representative. It would give the public greater insight to know the thinking and preparation that God and His Apostle utilized in producing Minister Farrakhan for his extraordinary work. It is very instructive to study the words of the Honorable Elijah Muhammad–used in front of witnesses–as he informed Minister Farrakhan of his future work, to be done during his absence BEFORE HIS RETURN.
However, it doesn’t take a genius to grasp the fact that in no way could the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan do what he has done these past years, if he had not been; 1) singled out by Master Fard Muhammad, and 2) shown to the Honorable Elijah Muhammad, 3) prepared, and 4) commissioned, and even now, guided to call forth the Black man and woman to the task of nation-building.
I wrote an article a year ago, for the Final Call newspaper titled, “God’s grace revealed.” The subtitle given editorially was “Recent events in Minister’s life show Supreme Beings mercy.” I wrote, in part:
“It is written that one day God said to Moses that He was going to wipe out–kill–all of the people whom He commissioned Moses to teach and lead. He told Moses he would make a greater nation out of him.
“Moses begged God not to do so. Moreover, he humbly said to his Lord that if He would not forgive His people, then he asked his God to blot him off from the book of life.
“Moses loved his God and God’s people with an intensity that was of the same quality of the love in the same God Who produced him to save His people. The Honorable Elijah Muhammad demonstrated this same kind of love, and then some, from 1931 right through the time that He departed, in 1975, and even up to this very moment.”
More next issue, Allah Willing.
