“O you who believe, keep your duty to Allah, and let every soul consider that which it sends forth for the morrow, and keep your duty to Allah. Surely Allah is Aware of what you do. And be not like those who forget Allah, so He makes them forget their own souls. These are the transgressors.” Holy Qur’an, Surah 59, verses 18-19

As we enter the year 2010, I call to remembrance the Presence, the Power; the Unlimited Love and the Mercy and Forgiveness of Almighty God Allah to us all, in this closing cycle of the Old World Order of Satan and the beginning of his New World Kingdom, the extension of which covers the heavens and the earth, the preservation of which tires Him not. This year, 2010, we celebrate the 80th Anniversary of the “Nation of Islam’s” birth in America, which initiated a process of joining the “so-called” American Negroes, as we were referred to at that time, back to a full knowledge of God, ourselves, and our proper relationships to the whole of humanity. I wish to share in this series of articles, which touches upon this continual process and what is taking place in this present moment in time. May Almighty God, Allah, who came in the Person of Master W. Fard Muhammad, guide my pen and my heart to record that which will be truthful and helpful to our readers moving upon the divine path of Allah’s Judgment in preparation for the New Life in the Hereafter.

The Honorable Elijah Muhammad

Approximately one and a half years ago, while I was in Chicago, the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan asked me to help him prepare courses of study for the Student Ministry and Laborers based upon the 13 Paragraphs of Early Instructions given to the Laborers to study beginning in the early 1930s prior to the departure of Master W. Fard Muhammad in 1934. The following material is based on that request and is being completed exactly thirty-four years following the Honorable Elijah Muhammad’s departure in 1975. May Allah be pleased with what I am about to share. We begin with a brief introduction to the assignments of the 13 Paragraphs of Instruction given to the Early Laborers to study as a guide for our future conduct prior to the departure of Master W. Fard Muhammad in 1934. This was the final year of His public Appearance beginning in 1930. Thus, we have reached the 80-year mark of the beginning of this year’s anniversary from that date of the establishment of the Nation of Islam in America.

Now, counting 80 years from the date of his departure (1934) plus 80, equals another 80-year period to be reckoned with which is mentioned in Lesson No. 2, Question and Answer 1 that begins with the Question: “Who made the Holy Qur’an or Bible …” This particular lesson describes our Asiatic Calendar History and adds 80 years into the future of our calendar time, which expires in the year 9,000 from the time of the writing of this Lesson (1933) plus 80 equals 2013. We will also note that the numbers 80 and 34 equals 114, the complete number of chapters of the Holy Qur’an. The test for Believers and the New Converts to the Nation of Islam appears predominantly in Paragraph Number 2, which gives us an assessment of the two areas in which we are currently being tested during this period of 34 years after the departure of the Honorable Elijah Muhammad in 1975. The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan brought these two key areas in which we would all be tested in a 1979 Laborers’ Meeting in Chicago, Illinois. He wrote these two test areas on the blackboard. One of these areas was whether or not we believed the Honorable Elijah Muhammad had escaped a death plot and lived. The second area would be on the Domestic Life of the Honorable Elijah Muhammad which has extended into his own history during this period of his Ministry as the Great Helper of the Honorable Elijah Muhammad.

In Paragraph 2 we read the following words which are capsulized with a reference to Surah 59 titled, “The Banishment” and refers to the mischief making of the Jews, along with the Hypocrites who were ultimately banished for their combined attacks against the Prophet (May Allah’s Peace and Blessings Be Upon Him).

“According to the Holy Qur’an 59:7, the Muslims were very poor when they first started to Teach ISLAM and all contribution was given to ALLAH’s Apostle for him and his Family’s Support. And what the Apostle could spare, he gave to help take care of the Poor Muslims that were unable to help themselves and the other part was given to those who were confined to the Labor of ISLAM.

“And soon, there arose an argument among the Hypocrites about the use of the money because they thought that they should share equally with the Apostle. Then ALLAH cast these Hypocrites out and punished them for the false accusation that they had spread against the Prophet, that he was seeking to enrich himself and acting unjustly to the poor and needy.”

As the controversy continues, we will discuss in the next article, the final outcome of this attack.

“He is Allah besides Whom there is no God: The Knower of the unseen and the seen; He is the Beneficent, the Merciful. He is Allah, besides Whom there is no God; the King, the Holy, the Author of Peace, the Granter of Security, Guardian over all, the Mighty, the Supreme, the Possessor of greatness. Glory be to Allah from that which they set up (with Him)! He is Allah, the Creator, the Maker, the Fashioner: His are the most beautiful names. Whatever is in the heavens and the earth declares His glory; and He is the Mighty, the Wise.” —Holy Qur’an, Surah 59, verses 22-24

To be continued.
